Why does WoWs Forum button start in a new window?

I'm beta testing for World of Warplanes, and when I go to their website and click the Forum button it takes me straight there. In World of Warships it opens a new window. I realize this is a minor inconvenience, but it would be a nice quality of life fix for the users. Just a suggestion.  :Smile_teethhappy:

I actually like it better like this. I find it more convienient to have it open in a new tab or window because sometimes I like to look at the sight and the forum at the same time. Call me lazy but it seems easier just to close the tab you dont want than to right click the link and click open in new window.

No I agree you are exactly right, I think it's easier to close a tab rather than right click.. Unless u click the scroll wheel which auto opens link in new tab. Basically it's just the way they set up the code because it's what they liked. I assume when the game gets closer to launch and the portal changes tou will see them change the links to be linke wowp and wot and just load in the current tab.
