Oil Accumulation

If you're part of a clan, then you know that when containers are opened, you get oil. But what happens when the clan has upgraded everything in the clan port? The oil just accumulates and accumulates. WG needs to implement a game feature that will give players a use for the accumulated oil. One suggestion would be to give more bonuses by the amount of oil collected. For example, the cost of service would become decrease by another 10%.

Another suggestion would be to give containers to the amount of oil collected. For example, a container would be given every time the clan reached another 5000 oil. It would be a regular container but of course, but of course, special containers like Bismarck or American freedom containers would not be out of the question. Similar to this idea, coal could be given out for every player that reaches specific milestones set in the game. This would be an individual accomplishment and not dependent on the team collection of oil.

But one has to note that all these ideas can only be considered if the clan has reached its maximum clan port upgrade. Then, these ideas would be great to consider for the betterment of the game.

In the Naval Base page of the Wiki, it says that T9 & T10 silver ship purchase cost buildings are planned. WG has also mentioned further upgrading of the Naval Base with other buildings, but no details have been given.

 

When the Nueve de Julio is added, a Pan-Am +3% building will probably be added. People has suggested a credit bonus building, a research discount building and many other types that could be built. Hopefully they will come along soon.

That is what I am talking about. There is still no bonuses given for all that accumulated oil. And even if tier 9 and 10 are implemented, people will get past that marker. In other words, people will buy the discounted ships and it will be just like the lower tiers. The oil will still be useless. Hopefully, WG will change that soon.

There was a person oil wallet teased when oil was first introduced. It was supposed to be used to buy in game items. Coal ended up replacing the personal oil wallet and a conversion was done from oil to coal on patch 7.6. From patch 7.6 on, oil is only used for clan buildings and constructions.

But at the moment for fully upgraded clan port, it is completely useless.

I see this as a way to reward players for STAYING WITH THE SAME CLAN.

The notion is to get rid of the excess, but find a way to reward the player-base, especially the ones who are using the clan system as intended - rather than finding loopholes to exploit it.

If the harbor is complete, I recommend cashing that excess oil in on coal/steel and distribute it out based on the current contribution count in the roster.

Then you reset the harbor excess count to zero oil and start accumulating again.  The individual roster contribution count stays the same.

What is the coal/steel value of 10,000 oil ??  I don't know.  Make something up.

In the personal oil wallet to coal conversion in 7.6, 10k oil would have been 50k coal.

We are also getting oil from clan battles. Further oil conversion is needed.
