Videos won't embed

So I did in fact do a search before posting this, but all the suggested solutions (turning off addons, using a different browser) don't work. Wondering if anyone could help me out?

To clarify, I use Firefox, and when I post the comment, the video embeds for all of half a second then disappears and only the link remains.

Hm, that time it didn't even embed for the initial half second, just went right to the link.

What version of firefox are you using?

See if any of this might work.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-common-audio-and-video-issues

I dont see any options related to this forum, where it gives an option to turn off auto embedding. When I do link videos, it does have a box that asks something like "Do you want to embed, or just show link." Im guessing you do not see this when creating a post.

Does it do this on all forums, can you test it on another forum?

FF is version 61.0.1, which should be the latest. It updated not long ago IIRC.

I'd already tried disabling all extensions and addons...I just cleared cache, and the only other forums I'm on is the Steam forums, and it embeds fine there. Let's see if cache worked....?

Heyyyy! Guess the cache was it lol. Thanks! o7
