Dear everyone

Just want to know if there will ever be a small chance for the Royal Hellenic navy to appear.

Some great ships are but not limited to

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_cruiser_Georgios_Averof

Italian design British boilers and guns and then remodernised in France

A little mix from everyone

The most famous ship of the Greek navy saw action during the first Balkan war. The ship continued to serve in World War I, the Greco-Turkish War of 1919–1922, and the interwar period, receiving a modernization in France in 1925 to 1927. Following the German invasion of Greece in April 1941, Averof participated in the exodus of the Greek fleet to Egypt. Hopelessly obsolete and prone to mechanical breakdowns, she nevertheless spent the next three years as a convoy escort and guard ship in the Indian Ocean and at the Suez Canal. In October 1944, she carried the Greek government in exile back to liberated Athens, after the withdrawal of the German army.

and is a floating musem today...talks where made to bring the ship back in full working order to move under it's own steam.

Was scuttled by the Greeks but the Germans refloated it and was renamed as ZG3 and then Hermes

The above has an I interesting story hit a mine and the Explosion tore off the bow still manage to sail to safety

Thanks for reading and for your time

Perhaps some, but Averof would be difficult. Being essentially a modified Pisa-class armored cruiser, she'd face the same issues as other pre-dreadnoughts and armored cruisers.

Vasilissa Olga would be remarkably easy to include, and still a little different. The hull of Gallant, with the 5in German guns of Leberecht Maass mounted on it. Trivial to model, a little bit different. Simple.

I suggested Vasilissa Olga a while back. It's basically a G-class destroyer armed with German guns, so it shouldn't take WG much effort considering we already have Gallant and the guns can be found on the T6-8 KM DDs.

This would be my hope.  It seems a lot better idea than having a bunch of tiny navies in the game where there's no chance to cross train captains, etc.

Heck, I still wish that the devs would merge the Commonwealth navies under the RN for cross training purposes.  Seems like it'd also make the Commonwealth ships a LOT more marketable if you could use them to cross train RN captains and visa-versa.

:Smile_hiding:

Reminds me of the Rowan Atkinson skit where he's the Devil, reading out the roll call in Hell: "The French! Are you here? Just go on over there with the Germans; I'm sure you've got plenty to talk about."

@Lert has it here. Nations like Greece, Spain, and the Netherlands had navies, but not large or significant enough to warrant their own lines. I would definitely play such a Pan-Europe tree!

Basically a Gallant with better gun ballistics and hydro.

I disagree with you on the Dutch. We can fill a Dd tree with all hulls having been built in steel and having served, and a CA tree with less paper than the Russian one.

As for significant, that has never mattered in WoWS. Plus, what the Dutch lacked in numbers they certainly didn't in fighting spirit or effort.

Certainly better ballistics, hydro would be up to WG. You could knock down the torpedoes a bit too if the guns are too much of a leg up, Blyska's 57kt torpedoes and 14,400 damage weapons represent the British export model for instance, whereas Gallant gets 61kt and 15,400 damage. You could do something along those lines.

If China can get a line (Yes, there's an Indian and a Korean ship, but come on, the flag is blatantly Chinese), than the Dutch can.

Then you can steal the spice trade.

Nationalist Chinese, Communist Chinese, South Korean, Indonesian, and Thai iirc make up Pan Asian. No Indians.

Indians if anything would be in the Commonwealth line. During the time of the Raj and a time after i dependence, the ships of the Royal Indian Navy, and later just Indian Navy, used British ships.

Hydra would be a good way to test drive Italian midtier destroyers without committing to anything.

Oh, I mis-brained Gadjah Madha as Indian when she's Indonesian.

Would like to see the v.olga as a premium with descent aa

Amazing post by wolcott

And the g.averoff maybe as T3 anything else will be pushing it. It has a descent top speed of 23.5kts but the armor is outdated and the guns are too small of a caliper to effectively deal damage to higher tier but will give it a high sigma as per history   .if am wrong please advise would love you to hear your opinions

Kind regards
