I had tried everything I could think of tactical and strategic for random battle, sneaking by not fire main gun till behind island that block some enemies's shooting, while same time I keep close to team's main fleet, unless they can open fire on me, I tried to get close in 10 km to get full secondary on red ship, I didn't let red ship shooting at my ship board as I try to point bow forward little bit to make less damage while same time use secondary, 0 out of 11 Massachusetts didn't alive, normal I had no problem in co-battle, but in random battle I need to do for many reasons, I can't seem make use this ship, reason I still use this ship is because fun doing secondary gun and gave chance to do that. I'm petty good at US CV but it's not fun anymore as used to be (they had nerfed so heavy on US CV that is not fun to play anymore)

So How do I stay alive with Massachusetts with secondary build in Random battle? Only thing I found stay alive BB is camping and sniper at longest range, that is work petty well for me most of time. Thank you for any advice, even better if there is a youtube how it's done in this ship build in currently version (0.7.6)

I'm sorry my english skill is seem odds, since I'm Deaf and using ASL.

Well my best advice is try to really pay attention to the map. Secondary range is 11.3km if you use the flag + all other. Ideally I head toward islands at the start. If I see a cruiser that I know will burn me down, I avoid them. If I see a Yamato or Musashi, I avoid it. Other than that, play it like a normal BB but try to close distance. Try to stick with your ships. I’ve had a lot of success doing some type of delayed push into B or mid on a lot of maps. Seems odd but if you have good awareness you can make it work.

And my advice is to try a few games in coop with the ship.   Its hard with a new ship that differs from most others.   Like the joke about asking the taxi driver "How do I get to Carnegie Hall?"   practice, practice, practice

Hmm, Thank you, so if see any Cruiser, just Avoid at all cost? Seem not help team winning that much, but again, I did try help team by tanking, same time using secondary gun while try keep close to team's main fleet (when i said main fleet, I wait and see most number of green team join each other up but that don't seem work so well for this ship.

Coop and Random battle is not same thing, Coop Bots just come to you and do not gang up on one ship at a same time, while Random battle player gang up and shoot you all together, quicker destroy your ship while they keep away from your Massachusetts Secondary range (11 km), Practice in Coop don't help much for Random battles. Coop is great for start out and testing the ship while Random is truth test how ship doing so well, Massachusetts is doing well in Coop, but not so much in Random because human player are aware of Massachusetts so they keep away from massachusetts and gang up then destroy quick by 14 km at least. I fear Massachusetts secondary build is impractical in a Random battle to come think of it.

The secondary build works fine in random, it forces you closer to the action where a bb should be anyway.  And I think you are far over estimating the average knowledge and skill level of the player base.  Sometimed I wonder if the bots are better than the average scrubby player.

You don’t have to wonder, most bots are...

Save your Spotter Plane consumable for when you're breaking combat. If you're up tiered having that breakaway distance while returning fire might help your numbers.

Also while you're in Secondary Range try to keep your targets near the edge of your bubble.

A good mindset to have for Secondary Builds is that of a Cruiser or GunBote DD. Which is try to keep 1 Target within the maximum range of your "guns" (secondaries). So you've got follow up distance when the target tries to breakaway. And Breakaway Distance if it gets too hot for you to remain in contact.

Another thing to keep in mind is how close is Too Close. That range is usually the unmodified SB range of your targets. Which in most cases is ~6.0km IF They have AFT and no module. If you're disengaging and you're within their Secondaries, you're at their mercy when they angle against you with their MBs and SB; When disengaging you most likely only have your Rear Turret to force them away.
