Have you ever read a book about torpedo boats and /or destroyers? If so, I would appreciate recommendations. I am interested in first ships of those classes, mainly during russo-japanese war, but I am also ok reading about those ships in WWI and/or WWII as well.

This book is about the IJN and has good amount of info on Destroyers as well as torpedoes and some of their tactics strategies of the IJN. While not including much info on DDs of other nations, this is none the less a great book to consider since it actually combines a few books into one and ended up saving me some money lol.

This is a hardcover.

If you want the history of early destroyers in general, here it is.

https://www.amazon.com/British-Destroyers-Development-1892-1953-Permission/dp/B0007IZ1L8/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1531542638&sr=1-4&keywords=british+destroyers

Yea, $200 + for a copy, but it is ultra detailed and the drawings are superb.
