Your poll is flawed because two states are required. Maybe better to redo it with areas. Remember too that not everyone here is from the US.

And many of us are from none of those places....:Smile_teethhappy:

Although, I guess I could have said Kentucky and Tennessee, I stayed overnight in both places,(on my only overnight US trip) and was wearing a hat... (does putting it on the nightstand count?)

I dunno, I'd probably take Alaska right now, it's gotta be cooler and less humid than Southern Ontario and parts of Quebec are right now lol.

I once drove my motorcycle straight north from Kansas to Saskatchewan. It was pretty much the same scenery and small farming towns all the way.

I wonder if the accents changed as you went. It's funny here, you can cross the border from Ontario to Michigan and tell the difference immediately.

Looks pretty much the same though, except on the I-75, compared to the 401, you can tell that retread semi tires are legal in the US.....:cap_haloween:

what sort of bike?

currently restoring a '72 R60/5, to replace my V65 sabre. the Honda, combined with my lack of self control, generated a few too many life expectancy reducing moments.

The Plain States become the Prairies. It's pretty flat.

How flat is it?

Why it's so flat you can see Saskatchewan from Kansas!

Ayuh is a little farther North... say Maine and surrounding environs.  When you get into Canada (the Fundy Isles)  it becomes Ayup.

Ah ok, gotcha. Now that I think of it, Maine is indeed the state I associate with that.

If it wasn't for the curvature of the Earth, that would probably be true. Anyone who is too cold today is welcome to come to beautiful, sunny Arizona; where the temperature will be 114 and the women will be wearing as little clothing as the law allows.

Outside of Scottsdale that isn't necessarily a good thing.

My buddy's wife is from Saskatchewan. Her favorite joke about it is that, as a child, her dog escaped the yard, and she watched it run away.....
