somethings missing here WG. it took damage and gave us floods but we both survived and didnt get diehard???????????

One factor in ram damage is speed. As both of you were going pretty slow, you didn't take a massive damage hit. Is fine.

still wasnt one rule of thumb is that usually only one ship survives. ive never seen two survive

Both were going really slow and you'll notice beyond the flooding, you were both taking continual ramming damage while in contact.

yeh, but ive gotten rammed going just as slow before but never gotten blown up instantly

Before any ramming can take place, you must first give the command "RAMMING SPEED" so your engineman knows to throw the coals to it.

considering im on my fourth battle... shes good. its like playing dm with spotter. just kinda throwing tons of DPM in the air

 Also (for me) the ship xp earned from the first battle in it (co-op) does not show up in the xp conversion window .

upd: 
We've investigated the situation in details with collegues. Hindenburg stayed alive for so long due to a very low speed of collision. The damage was very low too. 
There is no issue in your video. Locking.
