Friendly fire changes??

Saw this in the patch notes.

As part of our effort to improve the system for prevention of unsporting conduct, we have disabled the ability to cause a fire and flooding to an allied ship as a result of friendly fire;

It's a good change to prevent deliberate non-usage of Repair Party. Or simple penalty if RP was used a couple of seconds before.

I agree, it is a great change. I was just not sure I could believe what my eyes were seeing.

Seems like a good compromise. Shell and torpedo damage will still count against you as friendly fire but not the secondary actions they cause.
