I don't know this guy but I like what he is doing.  He is going over the classes of ships that were in WW2 and highlighting the history of all or most noteworthy ships of those classes.

In some videos he goes over weapons and tactics as well.  This one is interesting as it goes into the anti-air weaponry of the IJN.

I'm irked by the fact that he called the Takao-class "Atago-class." Not sure how he made the error, but it's amusing that he is implying that I'm the name ship of class.

I have an encyclopedia of ships (I know, random and nerdy) which calls the Takao class the Maya class... It seems the people which do these informative sources just don't like the name Takao

I pointed that out on his channel.  There was a cancelled class of ships that started with Atago and then went to Takao, so when the new heavy cruiser line was planned, they simply switched the first to Takao and second to Atago.  Oddly enough, though started at the same time and Takao officially being ordered first, Atago was the first launched.  Still, it is the Takao class.  Maya and Chokai are sometimes considered a sub class due to slight differences, esp when Maya didn't have turret three but more AA.
