  Just got this today not quite sure how to use it or where to use it.  I know it's meant for the higher tier destroyers.  But as a dd player yes I'll take this thanks.

Not sure why any DD would use this module as there is no benefit. But extremely useful for ships like Perth and Huange 'meh'.

I only have them on my Perth and Huang.  It's not worth losing smoke cloud duration in exchange for longer action time on anything else in my opinion.

I think it could be useful in competitive for inserting ships and extracting them since you could really get a long line of smoke, but in randoms it is useless on most ships. Someone had a list of time differences in a thread a while back I’ll see if I can find but as said, it’s useful on the Perth and whatever the Huag ship is.

Isn't there a new ship being tested by CCs and Supertesters that also has a creeping smoke consumable?

I use mine on Gadja for a 40s emission time.  You can lay nice long smoky caterpillars with it.

This mod actually extends the smoke "presence" of any destroyer in the game by a few seconds. You gain about 6 seconds (30%) worth of emission time, and lose about 4 seconds of duration on the last puff. It's not big, but people who claim it makes you have less smoke are straight up wrong.

That said, the effect is way better the longer your smoke lay time is, so Perth and Huang He are the main beneficiaries.

Yes saw one of the CCs playing it. Maybe useful for that ship, but who am I to tell :)
