Image result for us cruiser damaged

When the campaign doesn't go well, how do you turn things around?

Rough seas and battles plagued me recently and it can be extremely frustrating.

However, an old master sergeant told me "...you're bound to get your butt kicked, but you'd better make sure you're ready to do the same right back!"

Regroup, repair, re-arm, and rejoin the Fleet.

After the agony of defeat, how do you get yourself under weigh for battle?

"Retreat? Hell! We're not retreating! We're just advancing in a different direction!" - Oliver Smith, US Marine Corps

One bad game doesn’t bother me. If I seem to be on a losing streak, I take a break, go walking, be with my friends, etc. I do try to figure what I did wrong and how I can do better. I know overall, my winning percentage is 49.66% but over the last year and a half, it has been running around 52 to 54 percent, so I must be doing something right.

LOL Our CO when I was in the Army would give his weekend safety briefing. One of his standing orders were that if you were downtown and you got in a fight....you better not lose. If you do, come back to base and get two or three friends and go back downtown and settle your account.

Whenever the grind gets to be too much to handle, I like to drop down to the lower tiers for a couple matches. Dust off the König Albert and Vampire, mash some potatoes.

Depending on my mood I will drop down the tiers or simply log off for a bit. It may be an hour it might be a day or two.

If I am having a bad night I usually go play something else.

If I am having fun I just reload and keep going. Sometimes I switch tiers or ship types. Usually I am just not im the mood to play a given ship type so switching types is all I need to do.

I take a 5 minute break.

Then I grab my shiny horse or 3 kamikaze sisters and say a prayer of forgiveness before hitting battle button.

Last time I was in a real funk was that Aigle mission....

Couldn't get that last torpedo hit...

3 games later my Kamikaze R got me 8 kills and a last second win...

When I hit a bad losing streak, like I've had in high tiers since I started the Halsey Campaign, (only 7 more stars to go on Mission #5!) I either go to Co-Op and bash bots or I saddle up Vampire, St. Louis, or Yubari and club seals. :etc_red_button:

Just hope I don’t descend down to low tiers at the same time or else my Kuma will get you lol. Often I can do ok with my collection of tier V-X ships, but on rare occasions on really bad MM days I just have to hit the tiers II-IV

I just step back and let it go, unless my end in that battle was horrific. Then I walk away for a while.

Triple t4 division to get back in the winning column. If we lose that one, it's time to call it a night

If I am playing well, then I usually will continue to play a couple more matches before logging out.  When I am playing poorly, I will log out and try again another day.

3 Ships I normally start my play with

1. Belfast

2. Perth

3. Kutuzov

Play at least 3 games then play T8-T10. Make sure I end the day at >50% W/R. If I feel like mashing spuds go for the  Nikolai.

But you know those streaks when you grab your Scharn and kill 4 boats, have 100k+ damage, and still the team loses...:Smile_facepalm:
