Hit points – 69 000. Plating - 32 mm. Armor belt – 330 mm. Torpedo damage reduction – 32%.

Main battery - 2x4 380 mm. Firing range – 24.5 km. Maximum HE shell damage – 5400. Chance to cause fire – 36%. Maximum AP shell damage - 11900. Reload time - 30 s. 180 degree turn time - 36 s. Maximum dispersion - 306 m. HE initial velocity - 830 m/s. AP initial velocity - 830 m/s. Sigma value – 1.8.

Secondaries - 12х2 100 mm, range - 5,0 km, Maximum HE Shell Damage - 1400, Reload Time - 3,0 с. 3х3 152 mm, range - 5,0 km, Maximum HE Shell Damage - 2200, Reload Time - 12,0 с. 

AA defense - 14х2 57 mm, range - 4,5 km, damage per second - 357. 12х2 100 mm, range - 5,0 km, damage per second - 178. 3х3 152 mm, range - 5,0 km, damage per second - 25.

Maximum speed - 30 kt. Turning circle radius - 850 m. Rudder shift time – 16,0 s. Surface detectability – 15,9 km. Air detectability – 14,2 km. Detectability after firing main guns in smoke – 15,0 km.

Available consumables:

Slot 1 - Damage Control Party

Slot 2 - Repair party

Charges 1 and 2 for Repair party II;
Slot 3 - Main Gun Reload Booster

Slot 4 - Engine Boost

All stats are listed without crew and upgrade modifiers but with the best available modules. The stats are subject to change during the testing.

New consumable Main Gun Reload Booster are added in game for testing. 

Reload Time of the Main Caliber -50%;
Duration 30 s;
Cooldown 120 s and 80 s for Main Gun Reload Booster II;
Charges 2 and 3 for Main Gun Reload Booster II;
Main goal of the new consumable get a chance for ship's owner boost for a small period of time reload main guns and fire a final salvo.

Please note that the information in the Development Blog is preliminary.

She also has a new consumable type: Main Gun Reload Boostsr.

I'd be pleased as punch just to get Gascogne's reload speed.  Not certain there's any need for another consumable at the moment.

I think the new consumable is a good idea but not sure how it will be balanced. I love the idea of being able to see a BB turning and fire out a potential 285,600 damage at him in 30s but at the same time that means the same thing can be fired at any cruiser or DD. That is a massive amount of damage even if you miss most miss. I miss the old days of truly being able to punish any BB that decided to turn in front of you.

they could balance it by increasing the cooldown time.

I meant heal and for Jean Bart

 

She only gets two heals with premium heal. So with captain skill you’ll have a max of 3 heals per game.

Lets take a step back from drooling over the reload booster  and observe how Jean Bart with those stats has some of the best effective AA  Dps I have seen, with the "short" aura being "only" 4.5km :Smile_amazed:.

with a gimmick that reload the guns every 15 seconds,i'm fine with that.

anyway what about her AA,i'm no expert at looking that the number of guns,i know that if my AA defense stat is above 80 then it's ok or good.

That’s not what I’m referring to. As of right now, a BB can delete a CA/CL in one salvo and almost delete a DD in one. It doesn’t have to be a huge mistake for that to happen. Just slightly angle to much in a CA/CL or get caught by radar as a DD and the only thing that saves you is the RNG of BB salvos. If a DD gets caught by radar in front of Jean Bart, that is a potential of 85,680 Pen damage or 28,560 overpen or he can reload HE and do a max of 129,600.

MB reload consumable.

BB only?

Cruisers will not be too happy getting shot at more. DDs will especially complain about being lit w/ radar if the BBs are waiting to pop this consumable just to blast them.

She will have some of the best AA in game. Best AA for a BB in any tier. Only some cruisers will beat her out in the AA department.

Nice to see her be a wip now finally at least through, its stats have shift around alot to what I anticipated considering Richelieu's stats so secondaries 5km base range and it goes at 30 knots.

So secondary build isn't looking as likely as an AA build if it keeps this stats

I'm excited that this ship if finally coming but the changes in stats to accompany the main bat reload booster consumable just doesn't click to me.

I like the new gimmick, however I hope they have some sort of UI element to allow for counter play. Expecting a BB to reload in 30 seconds and you get blapped in the middle of a turn is stupid unless you can see smoke or flames rolling out of the BBs barrels.

 

That said I think this new gimmick would be best on heavy cruisers.

I'm not a fan of the reload boost.  The whole idea behind massive alpha strikes is a long reload to balance them.  I have a feeling this is about speeding up matches by increasing the likelihood of massive alpha strikes to kill ships instead of just wounding them.   For the record, I don't like it on DDs either.

The repairs are a bigger hit than I first thought 1/2 vs. 3/4.

So trading 2 repair parties and slightly worse rudder shift, and 24.5 instead of 25.5km range... for -

  • Main gun reload consumable with 3 charges prem
  • A ton of AA - Richelieu at 65/222/173 vs. JB with 203/357/0
  • Better concealment by about 0.8km
  • 5,300 HP

 

Obligatory 'year of the carrier' comment.

Yeah, I noticed that too.  Planes won't be able to get near her.  Not to mention the secondaries are basically equal to a CL plus 4 DDs.  Except, of course, they're secondaries.  So their range and dispersion bites.  Still, if you optimize for them, you should be able to at least hurt DDs that get too close.

trading 1, not 2 repair parties.  you would get 3 with SI.
