It could also mean the divisions between the players and not the division of players. :fish_aqua:

What's in a division?  That which we call a potato / In any other batch would mash the same.

What's a division?

Something the Pope does not have.

One of the allied leaders expressed concern that the invasion of Italy in WWII might have a negative effect on the Pope's attitude. Stalin replied, "How many divisions does the Pope have?"

If you and others are wondering:

It uses three definitions of the same word:

Noun: the name of a city (hence why some of them are capitalized)
Noun: the animal
Verb: bully, intimidate, or harass.

here's the sentence layout for my Buffalo sentence:

Buffalo_sentence_1_parse_tree.svg

And a good translation of the sentence, with added words and punctuation (the extra words and punctuation are not needed):

Buffalo(1) bison(2), [that] Buffalo(3) bison(4) bully(5), [also] bully(6) Buffalo(7) bison(8).

Lexical Ambiguity, Reduced Relative Clause, and Center Embedding, are all used in the Buffalo Sentence.
