She's finished her testing period and her stats are final.  So that usually means "Soon".
Of course, T-61 comes to mind ...

Notser already have a preview out on her. I'd call her an American Bismark.

@Lert and I put Massachusetts versus Bismarck in a secondary only standoff at 6km with no consumables used.
Massachusetts won both rounds.

Okay, I stand corrected. BETTER than the Bismark. IFHE or Seconday Manual Control included? Or just BFT/AFT?

To be fair, this was with stationary ships, secondaries only, full secondary build (modules, flags and skills) and no consumables used. In a dynamic brawl Bismarck still has the advantage with its armor profile and superior speed. Fire damage was about equal between the two, with Massachussetts higher ROF offsetting Bismarck's higher fire chance, but Mass just outputs more DPM.

Thanks Lert! But doesn't Mamie have it over the Bismarck with main guns?

To an extent. Bismarck's armor scheme is better at keeping Mamie's shells out of its citadel than Mamie's profile Bismarck's ordnance though. Plus, at brawling ranges Bismarck's 15" shells don't lack penetration, and neither ship overmatches the other's bow.

I still think that its weird for them to have 2 South Dakota class bbs but it is interesting to see a secondary usn bb (especially one that can out do the Bismarck).

How come?  We have:

  • Two Queen Elizabeth-class BBs (Warspite and Queen Elizabeth)
  • Two Kaiser-class BBs (Kaiser and König Albert)
  • Two Wyoming-class BBs (Arkansas and Arkansas again but modernized as a stand-in for the Wyoming-class)
  • Two New York-class BBs (New York and Texas)
  • Two Scharnhorst-class BBs (Schanrhost and Gneisenau)
  • Two Bismarck-class BBs (Bismarck and Tirpitz)
  • Two King George V-class BBs (King George V and Duke of York)
  • Two Iowa-class BBs (Wisconsin standing in for the Iowa-class and Missouri)
  • Two Yamato-class BBs (Yamato & Musashi)
  • Two Nagato-class BBs (Nagato & Mutsu)
  • Two Amagi-class BBs (Ashitaka and Amagi)

Both being premium is a little unusual to me. In the other examples one of the ships is in the tree.

Two premium SoDak's with no SoDak is a bit odd.

Plus two T8 battleship premiums for one nation has never been done before.
