As we all know

Adrenaline Rush works for both main armament and secondary armament

That means: main guns, torps, secondary batteries.

Why is the AA guns excluded?

Ships lost AA mounts as the game progresses, and the AA guns are the easiest to destroy, so there would not be much left in later games.

Many AA guns are dual-purpose guns. They have increased reload for anti-ship, so why don't they have increased reload (damage) for anti-airs?

EDIT

In case you guys don't know:

AR even works on planes.

You get shorter (better) aircraft servicing time on CV with AR.

Why would they need to be buffed? AA DPS degrades as mounts are destroyed. CVs don't suffer any such degredation.

So everybody with ar gets boosted aa now and CVS have to just deal with it?

Yes they are gonna have to deal with it and accept the fact that the other 22 people in that game are not there just to provide entertainment for them.

If you think you are going to get me to shed one tear for CV drivers you are sadly mistaken.

Ok, but let's make adrenaline run apply to planes as well. That way I can bomb myself at the start of every match, and have my planes fly 50% faster.

You mean outside of every single other captain skill and mod people can take to shut down CV's?  With every single way people can mitigate CV's?  The things people already don't take because CV's are so rare or don't do because...I have no idea why,  actually.  I guess people would rather just whine than actually DO something about CV's.

Besides its not that simple.  AA isn't calculated the same way everything else is.  AA and its interaction with planes is a lot more complicated than standard shells and secondaries.  Pretty sure they'd have to do some pretty deep coding to make that work.

There is no need to buff CVs, as they are the most OP class in this game. It's nice enough that WG is not nerfing it

Right now AR works on planes.

It makes the aircraft servicing time shorter. 

So there is even more reasons to make AR applicable to AA, thanks for the reminder!

It's no more complex than normal shells. The mechanics is just different.

With increased AA damage due to AR, you have a increased chance of shooting down planes.

It's limited amount of planes for a CV.

 

They are the only ones in the game that have finite "ammunition."  They are also the only ones in the game that someone could press a key and your well executed attack is automatically foiled.

I'm aware. But there's a lot more to a CVs rate of attack than aircraft service time. At any rate, it wasn't a serious suggestion, just my way of saying that I think the idea isn't a good one. There are already so many things you can do to buff a ship's AA capabilities, we don't need more variance in AA. We need normalization.
