Issue with Start up

So I was very Excited to get bac into WoWs but for some reason when I start up the launcher and click "Play" the launcher closes and the Game never comes up, I don't know what could be wrong. Is it because I'm on Windows 10? could someone help me out? thanks

I switched to the WGC and it still didn't work. help?

Try to use the repair tool or run without mods?

Or try opening the game directly using the .exe (it should be at C:\Games\World_of_Warships for the regular launcher)

I just tried that, I haven't done repair yet ill try that next, but I coudlent start it up from the .exe file

I just tried to do a repair, it just finished, but it wont work still.

A patch or two ago I had a similar problem that could only be fixed by rebooting the pc. The problem would only occur on a second or third time the game was started during a windows session as if something left behind by the game after closing was stopping it from starting up again. There were several people with the same problem although mine has seemed to fix itself.

If rebooting doesn't fix it then you must have a different issue.

I hand similar issues and went to the game’s root directory and clicked directly on the .exe and it started. Deleted desktop icon and created new one by right clicking on .exe and send to desktop. No matter what please submit a tickets. WG has always been as helpful as humanly possible with issues like this. I’m not suggesting you use mods, like I do, but I recommend you don’t until problem is at least solved. 

And don’t give up...game is too much fun!

I tried the reboot, it didn't work, along with deleting the orgianl icon and doing send to Destop with the .exe file, it still didn't work. I also ran as administrator 

 

I also sent a ticket
