What low tier vessel do you still like to take out to battle?

I really enjoy taking the HMAS Vampire into battle.

At tier III, she is a good balance of both main battery guns, speed and maneuverability, and torpedoes for hit and run tactics.

What ship do you take out for low tier crusin' for a bruisin'?

@Gneisenau013

My stats don;t lie when I say the Tier 4 ISHOKAZE. With over 2k kills with her that is 4xs the kills on my 2nd place ship. The ISHO is just my ship there is nothing like her in the higher tiers which is a shame but as long as the ISHO is around her kill total will increase.

I don't have a favorite low tier ship I only play below tier six when a member of my clan needs help with something for a mission, or needs to be relieved of duty for sanity sake.

Kamikaze R, most often. I really enjoy the hell out of that little critter. T5 is about the lowest you can usually go and still complete combat missions and personal challenges, too, so that's nice.

Other than that? Smith, I guess. I like playing Smith quite a lot, especially with a 19-point captain.

If I feel like some low-tier BB action, Koenig Albert, although that got a lot less fun at some point in the past year or so. Used to be that she had only about a 10% range deficiency compared to South Carolina (i.e., ~10k vs ~11k) but it's a good bit more annoying to play now that the other T3 battleships outrange her by about 40%.

Shenyang most likely. I really like that mishmash with USN guns with IJN hull, complemented by the PA  DWT and smoke. All these make it a very fun and strong ship. Wouldn't say as strong as the Clemson but pretty strong nonetheless

I like to take Mikasa out in randoms. Load it up with flags & a 19 point commander & drive straight for the middle of the map. I enjoy the fireworks show...

Derzki, 10 torpedoes every 19 seconds is just fun.

^ Pretty much this...

Derski with a conceal captain is just vicious, BB's can't hit you when you rush them, no 2nds, and just wave after wave of torps....:Smile_teethhappy:

The St Louis aka The Inquisitor wearing the Igor camo is my go to low tier ship and now followed closely by the Mikasa but she only thrives in co-op.

I consider tier five to be mid tier but a good ship none the less.

it takes at most 20 battles for me to get a t5. that's low tier.

I like the Iwaki. It has long-range torpedoes and it can set a smoke-screen, which helps with bringing it's guns to bear safely. And the dubstep horn is fun to mess around with.

I’m sorry to interrupt. I’m a nobody here, but you have mixed two famous quotes (perhaps intentionally). “Retreat? Hell, we just got here.” comes from WWI, while “We’re not retreating, just attacking in a different direction.” comes from the Korean War. I appreciate the spirit nonetheless.
