Yes but there is no reason as why one cannot explore them, and team up with them to gain tactical experience.

Agreed!  It would make finding clans more accessible to the average player...

And for those of us who are not sure if we want to keep/start a new clan or just join one It's a long way off but I like to see whats out there and plan a little.

The First Armada is the first World of Warships clan on the North American server.

We are the most recognised and well known World of Warships clan having been part of the World of Warships community since December 11, 2012.

We have our own RaidCall Server for ingame communication and our own private forum on our website.

I posted similar thoughts in another thread, but I'll reiterate here. The way Wargaming handles clans bothers me a little bit. At least according to the World of Tanks Clan Portal, the clans are shared across all the games in the Wargaming portfolio (World of Tanks and World of Warplanes currently, World of Warships in the future). This bothers me, because I do really enjoy playing World of Tanks, and I like the clan I am in there, but the majority of the clan is simply not interested in World of Warships. I want to play both games, but if I am forced to be in the same clan for both that really restricts my options if I want to play both games (and I do). My clan is not a "serious business" clan, but we still do organized play in the forms of Strongholds and the occasional Clan Wars landing tournament, as well as the most recent Campaign. I enjoy these activities, and I think that it would be fun to participate in similar activities in World of Warships, but without an active clan presence I would be unlikely to be able to do so.

 

I dunno, maybe it's a pipe dream to try and participate in two different games of this type at the same time. If it really isn't possible to have an active presence in two or more of the games at the same time, then having the clans be shared across games is completely unnecessary. If it is possible to be active in both games simultaneously, making me be in a single clan that might only want to be in one of the games is very limiting.
