I don't mind going pink for simply doing damage to allies under the new rules - if that's how things are going to be, so be it.

I also don't mind owning the team KILLS I make when I screw up.

But when WG issues me with a team KILL penalty, I would at least expect the dubious pleasure of having sent a friendly ship to the bottom.

It's not fair to convict a man for murder when all he's committed is assault and battery. :Smile_teethhappy:

I gave up on trying to suss all the Byzantine nuances of the new system.

I just take my medicine and hit "Play".

It's ok - no one is 'convicted' of anything - it is a pixel penalty.

I actually "killed" a team mate, and did not turn pink.

I was in a Kii, and coming around an island to shoot at the last remaining Red BB, when a friendly DD that was hiding behind the island with a sliver of HP decided to reverse in order to pepper the Red with HE. He absently backed right in front of me, and as I had a full head of steam he got T-boned, and stuck on my bow.

After maybe 10 seconds of incremental damage he went kablooey, and I got the Teamkill message. I expected to be pink when the match was over... but I was not. I had only inflicted 19 HP damage on the DD, all of it with hull contact.

Apparently, the TK model is a bit more sophisticated than I expected.
