Selling ARP Ships

Just a PSA from the dev blog for those that may not know.  Anybody have any info on when this might happen?  Have about 30 million worth of rusted rivets I am excited to unload.

ST. ARP ships.

Players will be able to sell their Arpeggio of Blue Steel ships in the client for credits.

In the lower right corner of the game client in port looks like 2 gears.  Click on that and you will have to check the box to see those ships.  They are disabled by default now.

I wish they can make a feature so that people can sell the ships to other players. I missed my chance to get ARP ships

Selling them is very low on my list since I was finally able to get rid of the duplicate ARP captains that made the reserve a royal pain to work with.

unless you are really broke, why sell them? you can keep them invisible, they are nice ships lol

I like the Takao because it gives me an extra T8 cruiser to meet the various campaign requirements.  I'd probably keep the red Kongo clone and the red Myoko clone since red is my favorite color...

first win is for ship xp, and those ship xp are pretty much useless unless you want to spend gold to convert them, no?

Because why keep 10 ships that I LITERALLY never use and can cash in ~ 30 mil.  Have 5 Kongo's, 5 Myoko's, and Takeo.  Only one stay is Takeo for trainer/credits/T8 heal.

just for looks, colors you know :D

i have too many ships sitting in port doing nothing anyway

i think when you have enough games and credit is not that much of a big deal, then you might appreciate more colorful ships just to look at (especially these won't come back, ever), so unless you need credit NOW, hold on to your ships you might miss them in the future

Those ships are eye [edited].  Would sell Takeo too if it wasn't for the ability to put in normal captains so I don't have to hear a japanese school girl yammering at me, which wasn't always the case.

Captain XP is the same as ship XP with captain XP bonuses stacked. So while the ship XP stays on the ARP ship, I can run one captain through all of the ARP ships to take advantage of EACH first win bonus. With 9 ARP ships and the Southern Dragon, that is up to 11 first win bonuses for an IJN captain I am grinding.

An argument for not selling them. They are premium ships so they make great captains trainers. You can cycle through each ARP ship with one captain to get the daily bonus. That is a LOT of Captain XP. Since they are essentially the same ship, you don't have to learn how to play a bunch of premium ships.

Also applies to commander and free XP, since they're derived from ship XP.

And I haven't tried it, but I think that the ARP ships will take IJN captains, so can be used as "budget premiums".

Yes, ARP captains work as IJN and vis versa.
