We all know Yamato's theme song, thanks to multiple videos/compilations by players like Yuro, Jingles, and Phontomen (who may have been the original creator of this, I could be wrong).

If you're wondering, here's a link to the song:

Now because of this, I actually started watching the anime that the song came from, namely Yamato 2199 and 2202 (which is still in progress).

Lol and behold, I came upon the national anthem of 2199's antagonists, the gamillans.

Now every time I drop a full wave of USN attack planes on the Yamato, torpedo one in a non-IJN destroyer, or gun one down in a battleship or cruiser, I hum this theme.

Not a particularly important post, just decided to do so on a whim. Everyone has their tastes.

Heh. Your songs are weak. Space battleships are weak.

That doesn't say anything...
"Aeoooo(?), ae(?)(?)e(?) moo(?)(?) choob(?)(?)(?)(?)(?), i (?)nn (?)oo(?) (?)(?)(?)(?)(?)(?)(?)(?)"
That's all I got from the first line... are you sure that's Aurebesh?

This is the canon Galactic basic I've been using... It's a little different from the Aurebesh I searched from Google...

Melda may lose her place as #1 female Gamillias character...

Pah, your empire is incredibly inefficient at genocide.

Behold: not only can we wipe a planet of life, but we can also do so with just a few bombs and ships, as well as being able to restore it to just as it was before (minus the inhabitants) (just follow the link; apparently youtube doesn't allow embedding of this particular video)

Well, the implication is there...

24_00154.jpg

Although, Elisa doesn't look half bad; I can see why Domel married her.

200?cb=20150522001150

Although that makes me wonder, how exactly did Domel, being the devoted officer that he is, find the time to have a son? Did he find time while on leave, or did Elisa sneak aboard his ship?

It is pretty difficult for a career officer to have a family, but if my grandfather could raise half a dozen kids on a military base in the middle of the cold war, I'm sure Erich could find some time between engagements

Every time I want to do well in my Yama, I play Uchuu Senkan in the beginning of my game session.

Meanwhile, when the bias appears:

And when the khaba stronk bias appears:

And when in my shima (always feeling like the underdog):

Still disappointed we didn't get her in space battles this year. Though I will say that the Paris nearly made up for it singlehandedly.

Which makes what happened to Domel's son much sadder:

(if you're wondering, the boy died long before the events of 2199 occurred).

In that case, would you mind explaining something to me?

In episode 9 of Yamato 2202, apparently the Gatlantians managed to place 3 human bombs aboard Gamilian transports carrying refugees, and Kodai is given the opportunity to choose 1 (the Gatlantian emperor predicts he'll choose the one carrying Yuki) to save. Yuki, to deny Kodai the suffering, decides to throw herself off the refugee ship, and Kodai dives after her (and saves her) in his plane.

Up to this point, I can understand what transpired, but afterwards they fire the Wave Motion gun at Stravase and save it somehow.

What I don't understand is, what caused the 3 human bombs to not detonate? Seeing that Kodai and Yuki had ruined his plan to force a sadistic choice, what prevented the Gatlantian emperor from simply triggering the human bombs and killing everyone aboard all three transports?

Same for me, episode 12 is the latest I'm able to watch.

However, as for episode synopsis...

let's just say spoilers for episodes 13 and 14
