Hermes Scenario -- game performance

With the various missions offered over the weekend, I ended up playing a lot of Hermes.  I noticed a lot of game "stuttering" and lagging toward the tail end of the scenario.  There is a ton of stuff going on simultaneously -- air attacks with a ton of flak being tossed around;  German DDs trying to get in close and torp; German CA doing medium and long range sniping; New Weather Effects and sea surface effects.  All this was consistently resulting in sort of a "stuttering" effect of the game.   I've never seen this happen before in either WoT or WOWs.

Anyone else experience this in Hermes?

Always.  And presumably for the same reasons you cited above.

Haven't you noticed the complaint threads?  This started happening the night before the last update.  It is worst in Hermes, but shows up elsewhere too.  You notice it in Hermes because you really need to be on your toes at the end and it can screw up your sighting some.  Fortunately is seems to have improved since the middle of last week.

@Dr_Dirt saw you in a match driving a Richelieu.  You did something I did in one of my first matches - missed the peninsula and started up the wrong side of the last island.  There would soon be a whole bunch of red ships over there!  I thought you might be going after the CV, but you backed out, kinda scorched.

lol -- I did that twice where the flow broke left instead of right.  Backed out both times.  I played the scenario so much over the weekend (because of the missions).  I noticed that sometimes the team goes right of the island -- sometimes it goes left.  I think the flow was typically to the left.  But for whatever reason sometimes the stampede heads right.  Anywhoo -- I do recall doing that in the Richelieu and catching a ton of HE from Hippers and Eugenes.  If you break the wrong direction you of course get focused by the BOT aircraft, BOT DDs and BOT cruisers.  However, I think we still got a 5-star result.

No -- I've not seen any of the previous complaints.  Haven't been on the forum since last Friday.

Don't get too set in your ways.  At the least the map reverses so the CV spawns either R or L on the side away from the exit square.  Ruan and its escorts always go to the exit side.  The earlier ship groups spawn in different places.  Some of those locations are rare; none seem to affect the mission much.
