Dazed and confused...

Maybe the dazing is causing the confusion but can someone explain it to me...

Why shouldn't the smallest weakest ships in the game have the worst stats.

It always seems that whenever there is a debate over a buff to DDs the defenders bring up survivability rates or average damage rates or whatever and I end up thinking to myself...so...that's the way it should be.

IRL...I know it's an arcade game... tin cans where never meant to survive an encounter with anything bigger than another tin can and even then it was a toss up.

Because the smallest weakest ships tended to perform roles irl that aren't represented in game. I mean there's no commerce raiding, or escorting, no anti-submarine warfare, and so on.

In addition to that, irl most of the time destroyers would outnumber battleships or cruisers, so ingame we could see 3-4 destroyers vs a BB. Bottom line OP, you cant tie these things to IRL.

Because if (insert type here) had worse performance than everything else, why would people want to play (insert type here).
