6 radar ships on the other team and we get a cyclone.

The game went from winning easy to nearly losing real fast.

That is when torpedo soup blind fire in the probable direction of the enemy's approach becomes a viable option, especially at those tiers. I even use my guns blind if a team mate is in contact, and I get a reasonable amount of hits, even without radar. Just make sure no team mates are in the same neigborhood!

Just got out of a game in my Gearing where the red team had what I thought was a 6 to 1 radar advantage, but it turns out the enemy Yueyang selected radar instead of that excellent pan-asian smoke, so that made 7 to 1.  Still did over 90k damage by flinging torps from max range, but the yueyang kept spotting me and then the rest of the red fleet brought the pain.  It was... not a competitive match.

Yeah, the only issue i have with radar is how its poorly balanced by the MM. Its about time to the MM start to conider radar consumable.

I just got spotted in my Akitsuki by radar while sandwiched between to islands in Shatter. RADAR trough freaking solid rock! 

Radar need rework, ASAP.

But don't worry! We're getting the Kronstadt! That's way more important than a properly balanced MM....

I got killed on the C cap because of radar from the Moskva on the A cap.

This is the problem with the Missouri especially.

 

MM can't see the diff between Iowa's and Missouri's... It just see's Iowa's 

 

If you take the Missouri's out of the equation, then MM isn't as bad especially in your case. But because it exists, it tends to throw the radar balance out the window.
