Coming along...should be done by tomorrow...just some final cleanup on the hull and making some camo for the turrets. Camo on hull and stacks  is very close to photos of the ship, but there are very few decent photographs showing detail of superstructure patterns. Superstructure is is two shades of light gray that is difficult to separate when looking at photos

Thanks very much Ayano for the help. This was one of the 1st sources I discovered when I started and I have already used it to help fill in some "blanks" but believe me when I tell you artist drawings like this contain many errors, as you can see when you compare it to an actual photo of the ship. A good example is the white camo pattern on the bow (smaller than the prototype) and triangle patterns on the starboard quarter (notice the two triangle patterns in the photo, abaft the aircraft hangar, versus one in the artist conception).

Next one in the hopper...historical skin for RF Bretagne,  as she appeared at anchor in Toulon in 1919. I would have taken the screen shot in the Marseillaise port; however, the lighting was just too low for decent contrast.

RF Bretagne and Normandie are ready for download on pg. 1 - These skins are based on what they would have looked like late in the 1st decade / early 2nd decade of the 20th Century. I'm offering them as a pair because they would have been contemporaries and they share secondary armament textures. These "historically correct" textures are based on an actual photo of the FR Bretagne at anchor in Toulon Harbor and a "what if" photoshop rendering of the RF Normandie, created by alt_naval as if had she actually been built.

I could remove the letters from Duca d' Aosta if you tell me where you got a good reference for her camouflage pattern. ;)
