The will also stagger the attack so you will use your DC. They won't hover like a player would, but I have seen them take an off angle to make a little bit of a delay for the second squadron. Dare I say that they are better than many human CVs in randoms?? On the whole the bot CV's do pretty good BUT while most seem to be about average you see some real Tater bots thrown in. God help you if you get the Tater bot CV. They are really bad and if you get one you will know it. I had such a game a short while ago where the bot CV was being sunk by a Nagato and flew it's planes over it and off into the distance vs sinking the ship right there shooting it. They don't seem to try and evade incoming fire and torps as well as the red bot CV's do as a group either. I think they need a tweak to their coding.
