High tier gameplay

Tier 8 and up gameplay appears to be really bad lately, even worse than tier 4 and below it seems. Then it dawned on me, maybe it`s because all the plebs are spamming to get some of those  emblems because you need to be tier 8 and up to get them.

Thoughts?

I have changed my hours of play to late night I see no changes there, You may be onto something. Since DoY is done and gone late night play is fun at high tiers.

I used to have only BB and some CA potato but now even my DD are becoming potato so I took a break of T10 after unlocking my Cruiser elite emblem.

38k damage avg in T8 cruisers today is as pleb as it gets so maybe it's the Indian, not the arrow.

I just played 51 battles in Lion back to back, playing many hours exclusively in high tier games.  I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary, the games were all pretty enjoyable to me.

I've just been dinking around tier 6-ish, and some of the initial stuff has been accumulating...

No, all the plebs are spamming Tier 6 in order to get the emblems because they are too daft to realize Tier 6 battles don't count towards them......not that I would know anything about that of course.

I mean, I only played Tier 6 because my division mate wanted to take out his Dunkerque, it's not like I choses the De Grasse because I realized I was almost to the next French emblem and thought I could make easy progress on it or anything.  And I certainly was not surprised to see no progress on my emblem after the battle.  It was just a coincidence that I decided to go look at how pretty the next one was right after finishing top 3 in a victory, all a coincidence I say, nothing to see here folks .....

I saw 9 of 12 ships tier 9-10 today all to A on Okinawa.  A Rank 1 player lemming right on in with them.  Even after saying from the start "uhhh guys" "guys what are you doing?"  "Don't all go A!"  "Are you effing kidding me?!?"

All these thousands of games and combined experience and that is the "pinnacle" of our gameplay?  

They know they shouldn't do it, but whatever I give up.

This was a couple weeks ago and "only" a T9 game, but yeah:

The funny part was that we actually agreed on an AB strategy.  The even funnier part was that the enemy team capped A.

I see it every day.

Like moths to a flame.  Did they throw in the quote of death?  "AB We got this!"

And somehow...I always get stuck with them half the time!  Haha!

High tier gameplay is the same as it always was. No margin for error with DDs and half of the CAs, BBs standing off against each other (usually at ranges exceeding 15km), Hindenburgs trolling with long-range HE spam and the odd skilled player who gets detonated by a near-miss HE shot from a 42% WR Conqueror.
