Does WG announce when ships go on sale ?

Want to try Iowa again, but need to wait for sale. I just keep checking the tech tree. I also don't recall what the % discount is. Anyone recall ?

usually 15% for tech tree ships T-VIII+

The monthy mission briefing section will give info on what ships will be on sale for that month.  For this month, there will be a sale on Russian ships in the later half of the month.

 

Normal sale discounts are

Tier 1 -5:  50%

Tier 6 and 7:  30%

Tier 8 and above:  15%

You can also keep an eye on the World of Warships portal. Information about this and various other things will show up there.

The next discount comes at the end of the month, but for Russian ships.  SO keep an eye out, they do happen.

Actually the next discount is for Pan Asian DDs the 3rd weekend of the month & the RU ship discount is on the 4th weekend...but rather than the standard 50/30/15% discount it's only a 40/20/10% discount for the PA DDs.

Not sure why PA is getting shafted on their discounts but it was brought up in monthly briefing comments at the same time the misprint of German ships being discounted for the RU weekend & they corrected that but left the PA discounts the same so guess it's not a misprint but intentional.

WG has mentioned adding a T9 and T10 clan building for all the time -10% silver discounts, but no time table on those buildings was mentioned.
