I have only one Cdr left to collect, if I choose to purchase the commander will duplicates and complete the collection will I continue to find 2 of the HSF Girls in my daily bundles generating dupes until the collection time period expires or will they stop once all Items are collects

You can convert 5 duplicates into the one you want.

Thanks I know that, with dupes being worth 15K credits per, I want to milk them as long as possible hence the question if I will no longer get the girls once I have completed the collection.  The last collection we had I ended up with nearly 100 dupes before the last Item in the Yamamoto collection finally dropped.

Is the Yamamoto collection different from the Yamamoto Campaign?

15k credits isn’t even pocket change and not worth such a effort. And yes, no more container girls from the daily container after you finish the collection. The only way to get them would be the special container you can earn with the HSF ships or the Musashi/Yamato.

If it is like other collections you will continue to get them and be given the cash for them instead.

I assume you stop collecting once you complete the collection, just like Yamamoto.

Since we know container contents are determined when they drop, if you don't open them you should be able to stockpile pieces until near the end of the event.  Just make sure to finish the collection before it ends.

Especially make sure to do the highlighted part. Been a few on the forum moaning about not being able to finish a collection because some issue prevented their doing so at the last minute.

Better to do so with a day or so left.

I should have elaborated.  I've heard that when collections end all duplicates are sold for credits and you can't use them to buy the missing pieces.  It would be rather annoying to lose 100+ duplicates and not get that last piece.

Trust me I will get the final piece prior to end of collection but just am mining credits 15 K is not much but 15K x 100 will buy an upgrade for a new ship

All duplicates you get after completing the collection are converted to silver. 15k each

So... each Portrait equivalent to 75k silver? Since each duplicate is worth 15k and to purchase you need 5keys from duplicates?

Not sure why'd you'd just be saving the turn ins when you could just convert 10 of them into the 2 missing for the collection and be done.
15k vs getting other rewards, dont think anyone is that hard pressed for silver.

I am not seeing the event for using the ships still in place however. So who knows if thats still working, i cant test it currently.

So the event using the ships no longs shows?  Any reason as to why and not getting the items to complete it in any containers?

After i finished the Yamamoto HSF mission I stopped getting items.  I guess I can't complete the collections now unless I buy a HSF ship or containers.  I should of not finished the mission so I would continue to get items in normal containers.

They are not showing for me, as this is where i use to see the missions as i completed the tasks with the ships.
Can it still be completed by those who havent finished it (but have the ships) I dont know.

Given the probability, if you want to finish the collection in a timely manner, using dups to unlock is required.
