Whats the point of Rank 1 only games?

Popped into my first one by luck, folks were waiting for 2 hours for the game to drop.

Got a container.  Can only wonder what the folks who waiting 2 hours for the game and got nothing thought.

I have waited on the weekend as well with no luck. I wish there was a way of making this happen more frequently or a better method ie three set times of an hour duration each so players could queue up better.

the reward of 1 regular container is also far from attractive

Leave it to WG to create a game mode that is less rewarding and a bigger waste of time than playing Rank.
