No problem, we all need to vent at times. Not so long ago I went off the deep end ranting about giving premiums away for nothing. I got smacked down and was graciously readmitted to the Fraternity of Captains.

Roma is a very skill reliant ship to use, between angling manageable concealment and controlling range. Its not surprising to be burnt out on it, the trick is to let go and come back for another round later rather than push something when it wont work.

Fighting in tier 10 burns you out very quickly all the time im going back to tier 6 for a bit of fun.

I think I figured out your problem...no offense....

#1 you have only THREE BBs and they are all premiums...
 

#2, 99% of the other DDs and Cruisers you play are Russian,,,

you really need to get out more.....

(at least get to the Moskva and/or Khab and THEN have fun)

#3.. Get a Hindenburg

I'm not sure if you're suffering from this, Abyss, but I've had buyer's remorse on premiums before.  I think it's the mentality that slapping down $57 bucks on a ship will buy me happiness or guilt that I spent the money and now I NEED to enjoy it.  Either way, I actually uninstalled the game and told WG what they could do with themselves in the survey (sorry to whoever had to read THAT) shortly after getting the Alabama.  

I dusted myself off and crawled meekly back into the game, now the Bama's my most played ship by far.  Just play a couple/few games a night with the Roma and move on to something else.  Worked for me at least.

I'm hooked on the Alabama now. I'm getting decent in it. Something about it I really like. I broke down and bought the Roma Thursday night and have had mixed results. Good ship but like Akeno said it's very skill reliant. That stealth is awesome. I citadeled a Cleveland last night and got a devastating strike on him. He was sneaking around an island about 12 km away and never even fired a shot at me.

My roma mostly fights in tier 10.

Yeah T10 is almost always uptiered. Roma has a high skill ceiling, but for those that learn to use her, she's lethal. We all have to rant, as was said above. No harm done. +1 for apology.

Being up tiered like that sometimes makes you cringe. My first outing in the Roma I had a Yamato, Montana and Iowa on the red side. I actually survived and we won. I had an average game.

Im not sure what the montana is but i got hit bow in angled and it obliterated my roma utterly.

While I like the Roma for her looks, speed and maneuverability, and turret rotation the problem with the Roma is her accuracy. RNG can be a real pain when it comes to punishing broadside targets. For example, one game I took 16k out of a broadside Tirpitz who was at 14km from me but the next game I couldn't hit the citadel of a broadside Atago who was less than 7km from me. Yesterday I got inside secondary range of a North Carolina and watched as a perfect water line shot at the NCs broadside derped into the water doing no damage. If the Roma had half the accuracy of her Tier 5 sister she would be a really good ship. I hope WG buffs the Roma's guns just a bit.

Nothing at all, great ship, but that's the point.  I got very frustrated with it because of the money pressure.  Once I relaxed and got some games under my belt, I did fine (for me).  It sounds like you could be seeing some of the same sort of frustration and I'm hoping it'll get better for you as you play it more.

It's normal to have grudging buyers remorse when it comes to Roma. She's beautiful, expensive, historically significant, very comfortable rudder, turret traverse, and concealment makes you really want to like this ship because she 'feels' nice.

But unfortunately, she's also by far the worst tier 8 premium BB in the game, and possible the worst tier 8 BB in the game hands down. So it's normal to be bothered. She's a situational one trick pony that gets trumped HARD by either having carriers in the game or having a competent enemy DD keeping her spotted. And while bow on or sharply angled forward, she's very tanky, that tankiness completely vanishes when planes hover around her, or if she's forced to disengage and kite. She can't remain spotted and turn around as her ridiculously easy to hit citadel gets smashed by everything, including DD AP (no, I'm not kidding, sadly, there's video footage to prove it), and her rear firing angles are atrocious and will get you punished if you're trying to kite away and shoot with more than just your back turret.

Add on the absolutely horrid horizontal and vertical dispersion and you get the Roma, a ship the devs insist is not broken.
