10% coupon worth using?

So I had an okay-ish game today, and after it said that I had won a 10% coupon to the premium shop (minimum 30$, no doubloons or limited time ships, which sucks because I am planning to buy roma). Anyhow, I have had my eye on the Tirpitz for a while. Is it worth using the 10% off on Tirpitz, or should I wait until it actually goes on sale? Mostly looking to save $ here. What are premium sales usually? I want both Roma and Tirpitz, but I don't really wanna be double-dinged for 100 bucks... Thoughts?

youre money and it is cheaper, so why not? tirpitz is a great ship and better than the roma if you ask me.

same here.. but the 'Vast" amount of pkg's you can choose to buy, are a JOKE! I too, got one of those 10% coupons after a match. Only there isn't anything in the shop that will accept that coupon that I am needing/wanting. I wanted to grab the HSF Harakaze (its either a special offer, or in their repertoire of things that aren't allowed somehow - even the "basic" HSF Harakaze for $43 is not accepting it).. it's just not possible to use, and my coupon expires in 4 days. Seems fairly useless.

I wish they would just list what you "COULD" buy..as it seems everything to choose from,  isn't applicable. and I dont even look at Doubloons or premium time, or discounts, or the specials".. but the listings without "special" on them are not even pulling up applicable for me. I am thinking their definition of the word "vast" is: few and far between.

I figure the list of "things we CAN buy" is pretty small, with coupons. So just create a tab, and put those item in there for an easier process to locate.

Just for grins and giggles I looked at the Yamamoto crates.. none are applicable. So which "packages" are applicable????

Got one of these "valuable" coupons last night after a pretty good match as well, and I'm a bit curious if you can use it on anything at this point.  Gold's out, a shame because I could really use a bit of that right now.  Can't use it on discounted items, specials, or limited offers so that's basically almost all the ships I'd be interested in buying out.

Guess I could try a Yamamoto crate package, see if I can complete the collection.  Maybe look into buying the Kii otherwise, it's not terrible even though I prefer the armor layout on Amagi.  Might just let the coupon expire though.  I think I can find better uses for my money than a few overpriced bundles.

Got one the other night too, saw it was only 10%, no thanks and closed it immediately. WG usually has sales on prems, maybe 1-2 times per year from 15 to 50% off. I don't have a problem waiting until the Christmas sales so that's when I pick up my prem ships, for dubs of course, those you can earn just by playing the game.

Yeah I can't find anything to purchase either. Got the coupon but can't buy anything.....makes sense. Just like when I go grocery shopping the store does not sell anything I have a coupon for. Kind of dumb.

I got one too.  Not planning on using it.  I need more than a 10% discount before I make a purchase on many items that are way overpriced.

IMHO, 10% off is not worth it.

If you are going to buy something soon anyway, then take advantage of the coupon now to save yourself a little money.  Otherwise, never let a coupon or discount dictate to you whether or not you should buy something, especially if you don't really want or need it.

The fact you can't use it on dabloons...is stupid.
