Some dude reported me for triple citadelling his broadside Pensacola from 9km away in my Indianapolis. Right as I was laughing at him I citadeled and killed another Cruiser doing the same thing.

Mechanics are hard folks.

Maybe sailing broadside in a floating citadel isn't the way to play? :cap_hmm:

Nahhhh, you must be hacking.

Perfect example of why NOT to sail with your broadside exposed in a Pensacola. Nothing to see here in regards to "hacking"...just some nicely placed shots. Is this how she got the nickname Pepsi-cola? Good luck on the high seas and seven feet under the keel.

I apologize when I get massive cits or deletions against pensacola and emerald type ships.

They usually dont call me a hacker when I apologize. They question my sexuality instead.

I thought all cruiser Dev Strikes were the result of haxx. </sarcasm>

I'm sure the Algerie I put 4 cits into this morning won't show that much side to a Roon again.

The clickbait title grabbed your attention pretty quick, LOL.

Probably not, but it is why I usually refer to her as the Pen-a-cola. :Smile-_tongue:

Bagged milk hasn't been a thing in central or western Canada since the 80s.  It went out with the Schwan's man, which apparently you lucky American buggers still have.

As someone who grew to love the Pepsicola over the long non-premium/no-xp flag grind (I think like 70-something battles in that thing), it takes a certain number of those deletions before it really sinks in what a delicate little boat you are sailing lol. That thing is... unforgiving. I just love 203mm US AP in T5/6/7 MM though. It makes me happy.

The Pensacola and Northampton class Cruisers were actually known as "Tin Clads" in real life. :3

This was explained to me once. The milk was in quarts instead of gallons. You'd have a jug that you'd place the bag in and then cut a corner to pour it out of.

You should consider yourself as arrived you have been accused of hacking.

I got it about a week ago in the Bogue, I was accused of cheating and hacking.

Yup, that's it.  It was a HUGE pain in the butt.  They would often leak or fold over on themselves or be bulging enough to not fit properly.  It was nice that it was delivered, but it was a HUGE nuisance.  IIRC, you couldn't buy milk elsewhere at the time either.

Indianapolis at her finest. Damn I love that ship just for those salvos.

Hack-accuser: "You're a M-monster!"

Hack-accused: "I got no problem going all the way with this."

That's basically how I felt. Literally hir enter as the shells sunk the other ship in the same fashion and thought: "Well that won't help him feel any better." Lol

USN heavy cruisers are my favorite to play BECAUSE of those awesome guns and the things they can do.   You just have to remember:  YOU ARE NOT SAILING A BATTLESHIP!!!!   Those 14, 15, 16" shells are going to mess you up no matter where they hit you- but if you make it easy for the other guy...  Well, enjoy your quick return to port.   Other heavy cruisers are also perfectly capable of chopping your head off if you stick your neck out.

It's not just cruisers, either- go ahead- show that USN CA the flat side of your BB for extended periods of time.  15-20,000 pt damage salvos with AP vs broadside BB's is not at all uncommon.   Even you Germans with your troll armor will FEEL it, when an 8" armed cruiser starts pounding your secondary deck with AP.

All four of my USN CA's (Indy; Pepsi; NO; and Balti) regularly make shots that cause ME to cringe at just how much damage they did.   I'm willing to live with the squishyness, in exchange for being able to hit- and cause a bunch of damage to- what I shoot at.   ( the always ravenous AA is also fun too)

I haven't been accused of hacking in them yet- not enough Randoms games to find those clueless noobs, I guess.   I actually like that bots don't whine or rage when you nail them.  They just sink- quietly.
