How do you identify yourself here as a player?

I see a lot of people here who identify themselves as players of certain ships and generally they argue passionately for buffs and nerfs of other ship types so it made me curious how many people see themselves fitting one ship or nation and how many play everything regardless?

I play everything. Since I tend to stand up for unpopular ship lines that are hated by players who only play one type of ship and can't be bothered to learn how to deal with them, I get branded as "DD Mafia".

When something frustrates me i play it to find its weakness which means even CV's. That means i end up playing everything. Helps avoid burn out as well.

i just play battleships and crusiers, carriers too hard for me and destroyers well im not a super close encounter type person

I extensively read up on the history of most Battleships, but I play BBs, CL/CAs and DDs.

I'm a Cruiser Main but also have a lot of BB matches as they are my 2nd most played ship type.

As a Cruiser Main I have more BB matches than a number of BB Mains out there

I love play with CVs (even with the nerf hammers WG did ever patch) and sometimes DDs.

Mainly American cruiser and Japanese BB's atm and I did try out a few lines to tier 5. Cv is okay once in awhile for me

I did a poll similar to this one a little while ago -

From it my conclusions were that a majority people considered themselves a 'main' of something, cruisers being the most and CV's the least popular, but most people who do 'main' aren't super extreme, only playing that class 25-50% of the time.

Mostly BBs, but I have considerable progress on the other lines too. I have only touched the CVs on the IJN line though.

Who doesn't love bacon right? I added it because even if you didn't want to answer one of the three there's still bacon and bacon is always a win.

Yeah i'm sure this isn't an original poll lol. I'm just curious to see what the community plays lately.

See I prefer the term baDDies. 

 

I play every and I think we need to buff bb hp by alot but nerf every other aspect of them so I can farm even more damage off of them

It's not out of beta till we hot patch 1.0

The 74 Battles in American ships never happened....

I'm a European BB player almost exclusively. I'd call myself a capital ship player who just ended up playing 1-2 lines of BB due to circumstances. I've ended up almost exclusively in the UK and German BB lines with the exception of the Graf Spee but that's not because there aren't ships in the US or Japanese BB lines or CV lines that I like, it's just the path to get to them  simply isn't appealing. Love the CV's and some of the US and Japanese ships for their historical value but I needed to go through too many ships I didn't want whereas with Germany and the UK I was able to collect ships I wanted right away. Decided to use my hoarded Free XP to skip the French BB grind instead so they'll be three lines. I also have a New Mexico hanging out in my port but that's it per the exceptions. 

There was a brief period where I was starting to do Russian and UK cruiser grinds before I realized splitting my XP to different grinds seriously slowed my progress.  Try picking up the Graf Spee every once and a while(my only non BB) and I think I've lost the cruiser touch.
