I saw a notser video saying today 's micro patch should have fixed the musashi gun sound. But I just playrd two games in my musashi, and instead of hearing a lion's roar, it's still the meow  of the American 16 incher.

Anyone else?

The only reason the Yamato's guns are better in this game is because of how overmatch is coded. I'd take a 16 inch SHS any day of the week in real life over the 18 inch rounds from the Yamato.

Oh jeez, are we adding gun sounds to the Yamato vs Iowa debate now?

Only 18 of the 27 total 18.1 Yamato Class guns constructed are at the bottom of the ocean so possibility to get accurate gun sounds might be easier than you think lol.

I wouldn't, if we were only to speak about the guns.

  Iowa Yamato
shell weight 1225 kg 1460 kg
bursting charge 18.5 kg 33.8 kg
muzzle velocity 762 m/s 780 m/s
Range 38.7 km 42 km
Penetration (0m) 829 mm 864 mm
Penetration (30000m) ~355 mm 360 mm

Now of course you could throw in the Fire Control, but since you only spoke about the guns (or even more specific, only about the shells), there is no reason to talk about the Fire Control.

Just so there's at least one relevant response in this topic - I noticed this too @_Dracarys and I was very annoyed.

Haha good to know

Unfortunately the audio didn't make that micro patch, I hope they get it into a patch soon for us.
