What Happens When MM Favors the Atlanta

I knew this was going to be good when I saw the teams.

Two CVs, T5, plenty of targets, doesn't get much better. I camped behind an island, radared and blasted the two DDs that tried to come up, irritated the CVs as they tried to strike, and made BB BBQ. Ambushed the DD that tried a mid-game middle run, then mopped up the remnants for some more BBQ. Would have been a Kraken, but someone else's fire got the last CO. Team did great too, didn't even have to carry.

It's going to be T9 for a while now.

Well done. I love Atlanta but t9 matches in it are rough

I wish I could get something like this if I ever try to use Musashi in Randoms; but I know my luck...

If the pattern from the five times I used Kaga before giving up on using it in Randoms is any indication; I'll get one sorta-kinda Tier-7 game, with mostly Tier-8s, a solidly Tier-9 game, and three, count them, THREE, solidly Tier-10 games.

Considering the 'fun' players speak of when getting top tier in ships like Musashi seems to always be conspicuously absent for me, I'm seriously considering just leaving the ship in Co-op.

Atlanta is one of the few ships i don't care with MM. In her case i get more worried which map RNG will pick.

Do you have any idea what Atlanta with IFHE can do to tier 9 or even some tier 10 ships in the map Shatter!? I got that map only twice with Atlanta because it is a high tier map. Got in first in both of them because both those matches were salty to the enemy team that understimated an Atlanta in a map full of islands. Totally unforgettable!

Edit: Strait for example is a bad map for atlanta because she will lost unnecessary damage looking for the few usefull islands for her. And it's a tier 4-7 map
