We have (almost) achieved WG's vision. We have transcended to a new level of gameplay.

Many of the matches I played today had 2 or 3 DD's in them for BOTH teams; some, including the last 4 I played, had ZERO.

If cruisers are a dying class, DD's are going with them.

I have noticed that too. Looks like DD's are the 2nd class to go, cruisers being 1st, and carriers will be 3rd by virtue of there unique situation.

I don't know if you have been playing long enough to remember when the game transitioned from CBT to OBT, but that's when the CV's got hit with the nerf hammer, like Hiroshima got hit with "a bomb".

Those poor sons of unwed mothers have been trying to come back ever since, the USN being the worst off. They were the FIRST on the BB hit list.
