Return my Midway?

I spent money on the prenium camos for the Lexington, Essex and Midway. If the Midway changes to fighters go through can I return my camos and get the credits back for my purchase of the ship? 

 

I'm tired of the USN CV line getting nerfs and being awful compared to the IJN.

They go through with this and I uninstall. It's like they want IJN to have the superior carriers. Not balanced, superior. Ranger and Lexington are in a sorry state and they couldn't care less about fixing that balance, but the Midway outperforming the Hakuryu ever so slightly? Oh no we must fix this injustice!

Exactly pal. Tired of this [edited]. Hak has been better than Midway for about a year and nothing. A couple months of *slight* difference and immediate nerfs

my essex has been rusting in port for close to 3 years now, barring one or two coop matches i took her out for when drunk.

 

for a short time i was seriously considering dusting her off and finishing my grind to the midway... if midway get's nerfed again, essex will retain her status as my premier port queen.

eula is entirely a legal agreement regarding limitations upon the use of wargaming's intellectual property by third party end-users (aka players), has nothing to do with in-game balancing decisions.

No I was asking where does it say that I can't return my Midway and her camo. I want my money back if they nerf her again

You don't own anything, you purchased a license to use WGs content which they retain ownership to. Its like this with most virtual goods otherwise the legal system would of long ago been tied up for the next thousand years with people crying foul.

 

That said why not wait and see what the change does. Seems to me they significantly boosted Midways strike (torp bombers + AP bombs) and are now compensating by reducing the fighter strength a bit. Hak has always been worse in a fighter duel anyway. Its pretty obvious their goal is to equalize the raw performance data of the two as opposed to just 'herrr derrr nerf it' that's being claimed.

WG’s policy is that once you use it, you can’t get a refund for it. So assuming you’ve used your Midway since you put the perma camo on her, you’re kind of SOL.

Are you stupid or something? Midway is getting nerfed because she's hilariously overpowered right now, and way better than Hakuryu right now. Midway is better in every single stat by a large margin in the tier 10 CV stats for the past 2 weeks. Midway even has far larger sample size, which normally dumpsters any given ship's stats.

you can sell her in-game for silver.  the camo though, if you paid doubloons for it, is probably a lost cause.

except two problems...

 

1) hak spent 2 years being hilariously stronger than midway, yet it only takes a couple months of the midway being stronger to justify nerfing it?

2) there are plenty of other ships which have a comparable discrepancy to other same tier counterparts which WG refuses to nerf on the grounds that the discrepancy is not large enough.

 

WG is breaking its own rules regarding potentially nerfing the midway, unless the only rule they use in regard to balancing USN cv's is "USN cv's can never do better than IJN counterparts."

Unless their reasoning is there are premium alternatives to each.

EULA, wargaming reserves the right to change anything in the game they desire, with no requirement to give any kind of refund from people butthurt about something being changed no matter how justified. 

 

Amusing funfact: you're crying about some pixels on the screen you purchased the right to look at and that's it, wargaming has the right to remove that from you at any time and you can't do anything about it. Hell theoretically WG reserves the right to kill off WoWS and just move on if it doens't work and no they do not have to give you anything back.

4% higher winrate, 5 times as many battles, and higher stats all around? Psh! Get out of here with that.

Clearly it's a WG conspiracy to keep USN ships down, just like the USN BBs. USN ships can't be overpowered, don't you know?

In all seriousness. More people playing a ship tends to lead to lower stats, not higher. That midway is keeping high stats even as people flood back to playing it... is just even stronger evidence that the ship is OP.

My point I was trying make which I failed with the Fem reference is that who are the Midway Players the last 2 weeks that is being shown in that graphic.
