With Missouri dominating T9 BB population, and Musashi on its way there, future games are bound to be full of those ships.  It would be nice to have something in that tier to help with the ship variety.

Missouri is the best credit farmer in game, Musashi is the best commander trainer, and new T9 cruiser could have perm camo with free XP booster - make it best free XP farmer.  People will be taking it out a lot.  It will make for better games.

USS Alaska would be perfect for this as a cruiser

Ah ... No. Alaska wouldn't work as T9 cruiser. Way too powerful.

Just make it cost 1,250,000 and make it T9.  Perfect :cap_haloween:

ON a more serious note; you really don't have much for options for a tier IX cruiser. They just aren't many historical cruisers (the trend so far with freemiums) that fit there.

You've only got two options, both American. The first is you try and keep a premium Baltimore sibling at tier IX. The second is to use a sister of Worcester as a tier IX.

Other than that you're SOL.

How did they manage to fit her inside? The SoDaks aren't exactly big battleships.

Same, Europefeels

if I ever get the chance, I wanna visit Midway and the Iowa, we don't have large warships ( bar one extremely art deco cv ) here to see.

Yes, this, please. I even if it is 100% identical to what Baltimore is right now, I would still rather have that then the nerfed mess she will be at T8 (no heal, no T9 upgrade, worse radar, nerfed ROF almost for sure, and nerfed concealment, all coming soon)

Funny you said that, because I did visit both Midway and Iowa.  Midway has a lot of cool stuff to see, and Iowa has...  Well it has a bathtub with a rubber ducky.  And 16" shell you can sit on and make a selfie :cap_cool:

I still believe she would make a better T7 BB. She doesn’t have the DPM to compete with cruisers. She would make an excellent tier mate to Scharnhorst. Scharn has superior armor while Alaska has better guns. Give Alaska British/US concealment and it could make an interesting matchup. Plus at tier 7 she would still meet T9s while not having to face T10s.

Just what we need, more morons at higher tiers because they have a credit card.

Teams fold when the tier 8 does a noob mistake and gets roflstomped.

Did you miss the part where they said free exp?

Either way, if they are able to afford to get a ship for that much free exp, then the player would've probably gotten themselves a T9/10 anyway without improving.

Yeah no, you can essentially sit in the scrub tiers and play and play and play and play casual and never go up the line then use free xp and get into the higher tiers.

Tier 5 gameplay is not nearly as complex as tier 10.

That isn't the point. No matter how hard you try, you cant prevent potatoes climbing the tiers, or getting rank1 in ranked ( it happens ), the FXP premium has clearly worked well enough for doing this to a adequate standpoint.

Potatoes don't get to rank 1.  I checked all seasons starting from 1, there were few players that had ranked WR at about 48% and it took them over 1,000 games to rank out, but their random WR was above 54%.  But then again, I don't know who you qualify as potato...

Would still like to see her in game even as a tier 10 reward ship. Obviously a design with weaknesses, but those guns... Pure fear and loathing for cruisers. It would be like a high tier Molotov, with the odd chance of bouncing one or two shells.

Eh, I just recited stuff I have heard other people saying on the forums. Ill retract my statement then.
