Tirpitz or Alabama

So I have had a question pondering in my head for a bit. Which is better, Tirpitz, or Alabama?

So Tirpitz has 8 380 mm cannons and its got those juicy torpedoes.

But, Alabama has 9 406 mm cannons.

Now clearly Alabama wins in firepower, but which ship is "better" in the game?

Depends a bit on your playstyle...

German BBs are close in brawlers, and the Tirpitz has torps for that special send off for the BB you go head to head with.  Alabama can lay back and delete cruisers from a far.

There are lots of opinions, but I wouldn't sell my Tirpitz for nuthin' , I've had it since the first time it appeared in the shop, back in 2015..

They play different so it's hard to compare. You could look up the ship stats that will give you numbers, some people will say that Tirp is better some will say that Alabama is better regardless of the numbers.  shrug

I have both prefer Alabama over tirp but then I prefer my Bis over my tirp too. don't mean either is better. For me and the way I play, Alabama is better, ymmv

I like them both.  I do get more focused fired when in my Alabama than the Tirpitz so its harder to say which is better for me.  Though, of the two, I enjoy playing the Alabama more.
