The first container is at 2000, 12500 and 37,500..

Why not change to 5000, 15,000 and 35,000

Finally when players go for the super container and dont win they should at least get the equalivant of a regular container

No, When you go for a TYL container you will gamble. Gambling is winning or losing and not only winning.

If you go to a casino and you gamble and you lose; you won’t get a part or all your money back.. If you don’t want to take the risk, don’t take a TYL container. Very simple :)

The first container at 2,000 XP can be earned in PvP in a game or three.  Why would you want to increase that by 2.5?  How would this be a good thing?

What  is your reasoning for your proposed change?  You just have a thing for nice, even numbers?  Does being divisible by 5k matter that much?

Actually, it's not gambling.

It's about making choices in life.

So you choose door#1, door#2, door#3, or door#4.  You only get to make it once.

You will find choices like this throughout your life.  Which car do you buy..  Which apartment do you rent.. How you are going to spend your weekend..

Once you make your choice and go through with it, you can't go back.  You must live and deal with your choice.

When you take chances in life, don't be a cry-baby when you don't win all the time.

No, it really is a gamble to select "try your luck", because they made it that way.  If you "win" you get a  super container.  If you "lose", you get a small container with only 1 item, rather than the 3 you'd get with the other non-TYL options.  That's the gamble.

I find it very hard to question a system that gives you free stuff, they did not do this at the start so I have no complaint at how they decide to hand out the goodies. Thank You WG.

We need to be careful with the language in that 'Winnings' from gambling is a taxable income.

So you gamble and win 100 XP flags..  OK..  You owe $4 in taxes.

As a matter of fact, you work for those containers, so that's taxable INCOME.

......

I've been in a courtroom where stuff like this is quoted.

I'm sure the value of a WOWS account has been fought over in a divorce dispute as well.

I see these 'prizes' as nothing more than plaques that hang on the wall.  Look nice, but they are about worthless out of context.

Sad part is that I see money changing hands in ways I find most unappealing.

So...   The monetary value of each of my T10 ships is $500 each?   Pay the ex-wife her half of that please.

this is not a gambling game..if it is then I can guarantee you WG is in a world of crap. Thank you for making my point. Since its NOT  a gambling game that means the result of not getting a super container should be a regular container ..since the player went through all the steps of attaining the XP

This is NOT a gambling game! If it is then all your win rates and accomplishments are rendered moot and meaningless. Failure to get a super container must result in the equalivant of a regular container

because the spread from 12000 to 37000 is too big..

5000-15000-35000

this is not a gambling game. I dare you to start thread on this forum saying this is a gambling game. WG will ban you so fast u wont know what happened. You do realize if u believe that this is a gambling game then your win rate and anything you have done is all down to luck..hence you have no skill

if this is a gambling game then ANY earnings u made in GOLD through the super container is what the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CALLS TAXABLE INCOME!!

that's why the non super containers NEED to equal the regular containers if you don't get a super result..otherwise u are right..WG is running a gambling operation

You clearly didn't understand what  I posted in response to the QUOTED person,  re read.     At the same time  My response to his statement seems to be off, as I misinterpreted his statement as well.

I wouldn't call it gambling.

Since you're  not betting real money on a game of chance.

premium currency doesn't equal crates

Right now the crate system we have right now is fine I find

Now if we want to talk about gambling we could talk about Santa Crates...

Yep, don't like the TYL, pick another type.

But you have 3 other options for getting stuff. It is more like a mystery bag than gambling as you get something of value.

Yes, way too many people complain about the free stuff IMO.

Exactly. You can still get a container from the other options. I pick mostly credits, as I'm always needing more, and I get SC from the credit one.

Nah, Santa crates aren't gambling either, just bigger mystery bags. I have yet to find an item in the Santa Crates that are not worth more than what the $ would buy for the same item in the store.

The TYL container has a larger chance of getting a SC, so you give up the larger prize quantity guaranteed by the other containers.  In the end, you hope to get a SC that makes up the difference and more.   If they gave regular containers everytime a SC didn't show up, then there would be no incentive to choose any other container besides the TYL.
