If I am going to make a first post, it has to be on this thread.

And then I see I've posted twice before. Cursed long absences.

noods shouldn't buy high tier premium ships

It's n o o "B" s; a slang term for newbies, or new players, not noods, which is God knows what.

Punctuation is a friend to all; you should get to know it.

Have your parents call your state capitol and demand 12 years of education taxes back.

AND ...

NO, NOOBS SHOULDN'T ...

(This is called a contraction, it's where two words are shortened and put together to form a single word. This one means "should NOT".)

... BUY ANY SHIP THAT IS OF A HIGHER TIER THAN THE ONES THEY HAVE EARNED IN GAME!

Why, you ask? Because not knowing what you're doing in a ship screws your entire team over

(much like your abuse of the English language is most likely causing your teachers to roll over in their graves even as we type),

and at higher tiers with flags, signals, camo, etc. some players have a significant investment in every single match.

Hosing yourself is one matter; hosing everyone on every team you're on is something different.

Have a nice day.

Why not? I had only been playing for a few months and bought the 2016 Armada bundle with all kinds of premiums including a bunch of T8's. I had just got Cleveland and couldn't do anything with it. But with Arizona and Warspite, I got the ARP ships before the contract ran out. So I should have not been allowed to buy that bundle because I had a T5 ship or two and couldn't play the Cleveland that I got? WOW! Elitist much? Why should you determine what I buy and play with? Suck it up buttercup and carry harder.

Never, anywhere in my post, are the words "not allowed"; my opinion is that you shouldn't, not that you should be prevented.

People SHOULDN'T smoke cigarettes; millions do.

Honestly, is the game meta at higher tiers not significantly different that at lower, and even medium tiers? Players should work their way into that meta through the silver lines, to make the transition as easy as possible on both themselves, and future team mates.

And as far as your name calling goes; I've been playing this game, and posting on this Forum, long enough to enjoy Rhino hide. Little barbs rarely hurt.

The bolded part of your previous post begs to differ. :Smile_facepalm:

I agree in that I had not taken Kutuzov or Loyang out even into co-op until just recently because I felt I was not up to higher tier play yet. But you know what, I did recently and didn't too bad. And now, due to the DoY campaign grinding, I now have a tech tree T8 ship. So according to you I should have waited on a tech tree T8 before buying T8 premiums? I would have missed out on the great Armada bundle, so no thanks. Talk about running someone else's life.

Some events require higher tier ships, like the Shinonome and Yamamoto campaigns, so why shouldn't people be allowed to buy ships that are in the premium shop if they don't have a ship of that tier? Could someone in T2 get a T8 and potato up? Sure, but you have a 50% chance that the person who did that in the queue with you will be on the other team instead of your team. Overall, the potatoes will balance out. Not to mention, I bet the majority will get hammered so hard, that they will go back to the lower tiers and only take it out occasionally.

Yeah, I'm a PvE main and don't do well in the PvP meta. I do my best to play well and fit as best I can and sometimes my pushing to focused destruction starts the game to tip into our favor. Do I make mistakes? Sure, but doesn't everybody? Sorry, but I am not buying your elitist [edited]. If you get in a game with potatoes, carry harder. If you don't, then don't blame the potatoes, but see where you could have done better. Or how you could and got the potatoes to do better. Work the problem, don't exclude people from the game as then you are hurting the game by lowering the player base when we should be trying to grow it.

You forgot that line right after those. :Smile_facepalm: And since it is talking about why noobs, no noods is funnier, should not buy higher tier premiums, I don't think you understand what you wrote.

So let's try this again. Should players be able to buy whatever premium is for sale in the premium shop whether or not they have ships at that tier?

So funny about starting a fight with what you said in the parenthesis right after the section I bolded. I could go on about motes, beams and eyes, but I'm sure you know that part.

Maybe noobs shouldn't buy high-tier premiums, just like some people shouldn't buy Missouri, and also like I shouldn't take Enterprise out in randoms. But we know how tempting it is, so players are going to do it anyway! I give up, I know people love the famous World War 2 ships and are going to play them. I had a good friend start the game and buy a lot of high-tier battleships. He got torpedoed all the time, LOL. Well, they're as likely to be on the other team as your team. My ridiculous uber win rate in Missouri is proof of that. I have done my first and last thread on this subject. I know it's not a good idea, but when new players are tired of piddling around in their Tier 4s and 5s, they're gonna pull the trigger on a premium. I can't tell them not to do it; it's their right. Some of them go to co-op so they can win. But you can always play any game mode. If you *blap* people for not knowing what to do, they will either learn or quit.

That would require looking at and comparing the noods and no, just no. :Smile_teethhappy:

I see this everywhere "noods shouldn't buy high tier premium ships" but IMO it depends on which type of nood you are dealing with if the nood is just new to the game but wants to get a tirpitz he/she will have there asses kick for the first 10 or so game but if they have any resemblance of a brain they would learn from their mistakes and end up being a better player for it

the problem with this is not everyone has a brain and they don't learn from their mistakes and those are the people that don't stay with the game for very long or just complain all the time

Periods. Not just for Noods.

Nudists have always kinda mystified me. Most of the people in this world look pretty crappy naked. Never have wanted to see that actually. Of course they say it's "liberating".  OK.  Whatever.

Yeah you ever notice that the people you WANT to see naked are always clothed and those who should be clothed, are the nudists..... Life is disappointing sometimes...

Hey, if people want to play nood, let them! Noodity makes the world go round.

As for noobs buying high tier premiums ... let them. Sure, it sucks when they are on your team, but their money is what keeps this game in active development so people playing for free can keep doing so. But I get what you're saying ... I too bought the Tirpitz two years ago when I first started playing and was dramatically bad at it, lol. Best you can do is offer advice or suggest they go into PVE first to get a feel for it. But you should absolutely never discourage people from throwing money at a game you love. That's just silly.
