Coop at higher tier has gotten worse for repair costs

So I was playing with a friend who generally prefers co-op over pvp the other night and every game he was consistently losing money even if he did really well in the game. Now before you say "you will lose money at top tier without premium skins" he owns them on all of his top tier vehicles. What I was wondering is did they change the values at which you make money at higher tiers because it seems for certain vehicles at tier 8-10 you are making much less because either the ammo refill is too expensive or the repair costs are too high and the mitigation from the skin is not being taken into account.

Mild suggestions would be:

1) Reduce or eliminate ammo costs in co-op

2) Increase the amount of credits earned in co-op as a year round challenge (we had one of these challenges for nearly 2 weeks near Thanksgiving)

3) Change the meta around the costs in coop being the exact or nearly the same as pvp when in comparison the costs should be half of what they are in pvp since you earn half or less experience.

This post will get flak as usual per the forums but just take this with a grain of salt as it seems like every patch the credit earnings in coop get worse even with premium/premium ships/ or premium skins.

there was never an intention for T8+ to be running around in Co-op, people just liked Co-op and choose to stick with it, so they have to deal with worse earning, go to Randoms if you want to stop losing credits in your T8+ ships, because unless you have premium time, i can grant you that youll lose credits in T8s at least, for T9 and T10, not even premium time will help you make credits in Co-op, unless it Missouri, because....well, its Missouri, i assume everyone, who hasnt literally just started the game, knows about Missouri's credit earnings and how good she is at it

whether an intention or not people (including me) are co-op only players and Wargaming is realizing that PvE is popular after the explosion over the way armored warfare does its PvE content. that's why scenarios exist now. i have not and will not go to randoms to get CR and i have noticed that even with premium ships earnings have been reduced. not sure why they are doing that when they seem to be more PvE focused but it is concerning.

secondly i just wanted to add that we are aware of us earning less. that's not the issue. the topic was referring to why we used to be able to make some money and now it doesn't seem to be that way.

I make money at all tiers(on my main account), and I honestly don't understand how players with premium time and good flags and camo lose money in co-op, the only thing I can think of is that they use premium consumables and don't have any in the bank, as it were. Most T8-10 ships have 4 consumables, and its almost 100k credits to resupply them. Perhaps this is why they lose money?

It certainly doesn't help.

Pandemic, could you elaborate on this?  Not everyone plays every game out there.  And I have no idea what AW does with its PvE content.

Could be a case of confirmation bias but I do feel that credit earning in co-op has been less than usual, and this coming from someone who regularly plays co-op.

Now I think the proposed and most reasonable solution is to make earnings more similar to randoms in that you would overall make less credits but still be able to earn consistently. I think reducing the credit cost of repairs would really help with losing credits but at the same time you would still not make as much as randoms. I mean, back when the changed repair costs a flat fee, they even tried during a period of time to help with alleviating the credit burden by having missions for co-op that reduced the cost.

I know that some of you would say that co-op is the not the point of the game and that randoms are the backbone of the game. The fact is that the co-op player base is not small but a substantial one.  I think it would be worthwhile to have quality of life improvements for co-op players.

I have not noticed a drop in the earnings of high tier Co-op? I play to T10 and it feels about the same to me?

As another poster said ^^^ I wish they would reduce the service fee from it's current -25% of what it is in Random in Co-op to what they have reduced the credits and XP payout (easily 50-60% less than Random). That way Random is still where the highest rewards are, and thus most people will gravitate to that mode, but Co-op players aren't made to pay more to play. Win win for all.

Here are some similar games in Yamato and Montana. The Yamato game is after the post by the OP so within the time frame in question. The Montana game is from way back in Oct 2107 so back in the suspected pre-nerfed economy time frame. Looks about the same to me. Both games were with perma camo's, -10%/+20% flags, and premium account. Only difference is in the Yamato game I was in a clan that gave a -10% additional bonus to the service fee vs the Montana game but that is literally only a 7-10K credit difference at most. IN the overall scheme it isn't a game changer for this comparison.
