OH WOW THANK YOU WARGAMING!

THAT WAS WHAT WAS HOLDING HER BACK! Not the Sigma Nerf, Lack of AA, Turret Traverse, or outrageous 920k Free XP cost....BUT THE ROF and CONSUMABLE TIME

Truly convinced these people dont even play their own game.

You're being sarcastic, but this change was expected when the initial stats came out. Any player who wanted Musashi will be used to the lack of AA and turrets from playing Yamato, and the sigma was needed for her reduction in tier.

So you take a ship that should be t10...put her at t9 because cant give away t10 premiums and you make her a worse Yamato for an even more expensive price than the Missouri (which is far better)

You do realize this is undoubtedly stupid right?

Missouris price will be increased to the same when she comes back, WG said that they believed she was priced too low.

You do realize that Musashi has been a much desired ship for a long time right, and in order to get her into the game they need to do this. And people are fine with this, because she isn't a worse Yamato, shes Musashi.

Nice ancedotal evidence to a claim that undoubtedly is not true.

Lets set a high price for what reason other than to sucker people into paying for it?

Then don't blow the money on it pham, it isn't hard. Not like WG has done much to deserve it recently anyways.

Alternatively, us IJN fans are just used to watered down regular ships as premiums and have accepted our fate.  I still plan on grabbing her, and Ashitaka when she returns to the store, but Musashi so far does look like a weaker Yamato.

On the up side, she'll be leaps and bounds better than Izumo, not that that says alot.

We could've used premiums that aren't clones of existing ships ( kamis ) or just outright old stock hulls to thin out this issue. Ashitaka is a decent ship, if you can get over the Type 88 shells lack of pen. Musashi is still Musashi, and she is hardly watered down, the entire ship is a new model compared to Yamato, and actually puts the far older model to shame in a way.

You should expect more than a Nerfed Yamato if you are willing to shell out the equivalent of what is to be 36,800 doubloons or 26,285 with 35:1 conversion.  That is effectively a 150 dollar premium you are paying if you outright buy it. Or 100 dollars with a conversion. That is 150 dollars for a worse ship than her sister.

Tell me exactly how it is worth it? Its not. It should be 750xp Free xp like Missouri. Wargaming is taking out Missouri after they said she would stay and replacing her with a worse option at a much higher price. These people do not play their own game and just becoming more greedy than in previous years.

I actually meant to buy Ashitaka the first time around, but got busy with work and forgot about games for a bit.  Good to know she's decent.

I probably came off pretty negative there, but I enjoy my IJN premiums.  Im hoping Musashi turns out like Mutsu, a thoroughly enjoyable ship and one I'm very happy to have in my port.

Multiquoting is hard....

You can grind out bonus xp pretty easily, and I've bank alot waiting for something worthwhile to spend it on.  Musashi is free, not counting the time spent playing, but I was doing that anyway so...

I'm sure some folks will shell out the money for her, but I wouldn't.  The up side is she'll be leaps and bounds better than Izumo.

As for how she's worth it?  That's entirely up to the buyer.  Missouri isn't worth it to me, but Musashi will be.

Well, I am people and I am fine with it. And I know plenty of other people that are. If you don’t like it, don’t get the ship.

People complained about the Missouri’s price when she came out, but now everyone is used to it. Same thing will happen to the Musashi. I for one, can’t wait to get her. Will be sailing her on the first day of release. :)

Missouri is a better Iowa with Radar, more accurate guns, and is one of the best AA ships in the game.
Musashi is a worse Yamato with no radar, no AA, and worse accuracy in her guns than her bigger sister.
One costs 750k xp while the other will cost 920k xp.
You are paying more for less and you say its better than Missouri.

I never said anything was better than anything else, besides Izumo.  I said she's worthwhile to me over Missouri.  I don't enjoy US BBs, so Missouri holds no value to me.  I play alot of IJN BBs, so Musashi naturally holds more interest to me.

Which is better doesn't factor in.  Which one I'll enjoy playing is my sole concern.

Missouri is an Iowa, not better, she has slightly increased armor on some places which is negligible at best and trades a consumable for another, which are both situational. Her guns are exactly the same in all ways.

Musashi is a DOWNTIERED Yamato, with no gimmick consumables, and not so consistent but easily reliable consumables.

One is underpriced and an increase is not unexpected, the other is imho a tad bit more than I was expecting, but within acceptable boundries.

You are paying the expected price for the same, but slightly different. Musashi is actually more accurate then the Iowas.

RIP T7... They might as well just copy and paste Yamamoto over to T9. So much for balance. Having this thing slam 460mm shells into you every 30 seconds is going to suck.

Eh. 16" guns already do the same thing to T7s that these 18.1s will do.

More accurate because they are heavier... More damage because they are bigger. More chance of turrets getting knocked out... Will punch through 32mm sides and deck plates. So yeah... RIP.
