I look at my Inventory and see that the superseded Stock modules can be sold.  If I sell such a module from an 'Elite' ship in the Modules tree that module becomes green.  Is the ship still considered Elite?

(Other than the initial announcement, I see no positive indicator of Elite status.)

Yeah, you just have to pay silver if you want those modules back.  Which other than a couple instances of artillery or torps, I can't see why you would.

I suppose I can wait and just sell them with the ship, too.

I routinely sell old modules that are unused. Get the cash back.

I think that you have missed the free respec/dismount as it closed today. I used the opportunity to dismount all my ships' modules. I can always reinstall them for free or buy new ones of a different type. Demounted modules can be used on a new ship that you've bought.

No I didn't miss it.  I pushed for - and got - Kongo and Omaha before it closed, and promoted modules from Myogi and Phoenix.  But I didn't think of the "shed all modules" solution.  That was pretty sharp.

Did do the "reset all Reserve Commanders", though.

I only keep modules that I want as options, like the Conqueror's 457mm guns, etc.
