I was thinking that it'd look funny on Tears of the Desert.

I'm melting!  I'm melting!  :cap_haloween:

It looks good but the bow should have a bit more ice on it.

Darker sky boxes are definitely better for these ships' camos!

It also helps to  zoom in more!

The camos are earned in the New Year raid, which unlocks once you have a Duke of York.  You can either buy the DoY now or earn it for free via the Duke of York campaign.

Where does the Arctic Duke of York camo come from?

Reward for completing the North Cape "Collection".

In summary, there is the Campaign to get you DoY.

Then the campaign to get you Scharn cammo.

Then the collection to get you DoY cammo.

Thanks!  I missed the completion reward for that!

I'm working my way through the "New Year Raid" campaign now.  I'm halfway through and I've pulled a bunch of duplicates so far in the collection.  Hopefully, the back half will have some better luck.  I noticed the sub-collections give containers, so maybe they'll help a bit.

LOL, I didn't even know that was the reward until I completed the collection I got it.

Some photos including some close ups when the ship is on fire would be hilarious with the fire and ice...

I got the Schanrhorst a few days ago, but I haven't had very much luck in it yet. I may need to adjust my playstyle. She does look sexy in white though!

The Sharn is definitely a "style" ship.  Some players hate her (either because they don't like, or don't know, the style required)...some love her.  Once you get the style down, she is a beast.

As with many ships, knowing the ship (both when you captain her...and when you're up against her) is critical to success.  I've played Scharn and DoY quite a bit.  In some regards, they are asymmetrical to one another.  If you know both sides of that equation, when your opponent only knows one, you can often use that knowledge to your advantage.  Either can beat the other in the hands of someone who knows both.

I once was in central Asia where it was -30 with freezing fog when we arrived.
