Flight Control American Carriers

So recently a patch came out that took the Flight Control mods away for the American carriers, not sure why anyone thought this was a good idea but we now see the full down side to this. 

#1)  Tactics.  There is no point doing anything but flying around the map now and going directly after the enemy carriers, since that's all anyone will do anyways.  If you try and support you team you will be killed by the enemy carrier doing this to you.  Not that it matters when you only have 1 air to air group to take on 3 to 6 air groups attacking anyways.  I saw no reason to take the full air to air mod out of the game, kept you from being able to attack ships but allowed you to help keep them from being destroyed.  Now that's pointless because your one air to air group will only be able to stop one enemy air group at a time and can't stop anything from attacking the carrier. 

#2)  Even fair play.  You took the mods from the American ships but left them on the Japanese ships.  Now your out numbered in air to air wings and air to ground wings.  There carriers can smoke your team and you can't do anything about it.  Your basically relying on your ships to be able to protect them selves from air attacks because you can't have your one fighter group on all sides of the map at all times.  If they brake up there wings and attack your ships you can't do anything about it.  And though your planes may be better for air to air, you can be out numbered fast and there planes can fly away from a fight were as you are locked in once it starts. 

#3) Time in play.  If your air group gets entirely shot down, it takes a long time to get a new one up, yet seems to be a lot quicker for the Japanese ships.  If your fighters go down you can't do anything buy attack and hope you don't lose your planes.  This was not a problem when you could have more then one air to air group in the sky at a time, but now your left open and useless once that one air to air group goes down for a long time.  They can actually make 2 full attacks half way across the map before your next group is ready to take off.

 

Honestly I have no idea what you were trying to do with this patch, was it to just ruin the game for carrier users or did you just want to mess up a perfectly good game like every other company seems to want to do?

You have made American carriers almost pointless to use, and it seems like making my way to the Ranger was just a waist of time now.  Thanks for ruining a good aspect of the game and making it dumb.  What's your next plan, to make the battleships guns always miss, or make destroyers able to go underwater to attack?

The least you could do is take the extra options away from the Japanese carriers as well, so everyone gets screwed not just one side.

The only USN CVs that came out good in their Revamp are Bogue and Midway.  Langley wasn't affected.  The others didn't improve at all but they lose their spec options.  Essex got markedly worse.

The one part I agree with - and is demonstrated in game - is that most of the USN carriers are gimped. If MM were to place equivalent carriers it should take this into account.
