Don't play = get rewarded

So the long and short of this, is there are people popping up saying they are getting a tier 5/tier 6 ship...150K free XP 10 million credits, dabloons...all for not playing this game...or worse just sticking to co-op and getting rewarded.

Sooooo....whats the deal here Wargaming? I pay and grind and get nothing whilst people who don't play basically get this treasure trove of bennies? I'm not gonna lie, I feel a little screwed...like the people who pay and keep your lights on don't matter.

There appears to be a direct quote from a rep saying this was their attempt at getting people who haven't played in awhile back.

It upsets me because I've been grinding tier 10's, putting in dough for free XP....and I'm basically credit poor for doing it.

Some dingbat who doesn't log in for a few months or mucks about in co-op gets the "come on back package" and the whale gets told to shove it....that's how this is gonna be seen.

Has anyone gotten something free that's been pvping?  From what I've heard it's for people that "haven't pvp'd in a while", whether because they haven't played the game at all or because they've been sticking to PvE and operations.

I don't have a fundamental problem with a WG luring people back with prizes but yeah, it's hard to look at that and not be a bit jealous.

I think your feelings are completely justified.

It would be nice to be made to feel you were a valued customer once in a while, not just a whale.

They fight bots...

I fight people, and not just any people, I square off with some of the top players on the NA server and somehow grind through that. I face frustration on multiple levels when I get MM screwed, I work and develop new ways to get around these issues, I play hard and play smart.

Yet lets reward the people who play against bots.

I'll have to check because I went a few months without playing.

 

I ran a few today, but didn't notice anything.

 

I guess they're still having player retention issues.

 

I think it was the head guy at WG that said a few months ago that you will play this game forever if they can get you to stay for 10 months.

I play this for free so I'm happy to get what I get.

I found this game on my own and didn’t get any free premiums like the people who get referred. I think they get a Texas and some tier 2 thing.  Also have been playing religiously since may so it gets me kind of salty too. Then again I’ve gotten the okt rev and vampire from missions then a duca from a crate.
