0 [_TBS_] Fud_BM3 Members 7 posts 20,676 battles Report post #1 Posted December 21, 2017 Love the idea of a couple of new campaigns, I like the idea of having a secondary purpose, other than the immediate than just one supporting your team for a win. but wading into the two new ones, one is nothing but DoY, the other you cannot get to even stage 2 without it! I have never Paid for premium ship and I have been a die-hard about it, BUT why bother to have a campaign(s) in a 'free to play' game that you cannot complete with paying (a lot of) money to play? I could see having a specific ship or type of ship, but a PREMIUM PAY ONLY ship and making it impossible to complete is just not fair to players who are still trying to 'play for free.' It's not as dire as you're thinking - the main difference if you choose not to purchase the Duke of York immediately (which I would suspect is the same for a majority of the forum posters), is that you have about 9 days to complete the 2nd Campaign vs. 4 wks. While this may seem significant, if the tasks for the 2nd campaign are comparable to what's been revealed in the 1st mission of the 1st campaign, you can parallelize tasks (i.e. select tasks where one game can be contributing to 2 or more tasks at once) and repeat stars and I suspect most will find 9 days sufficient to complete the 2nd campaign part. I am going to do my darnedest to get it in before the time expires on the campaigns. I am almost finished with the first pat of the first campaign.
